The South Downs, especially the West Sussex side, is quite a distance from Kent.
My bad, somethings up with my geography today! - Assumed they extended across to Dover - my bad And the even bigger one between Rye and Folkestone: Romney.

Why would the South Downs be an issue?
If the weather isn't all that, you appear to have a Disco...
I've expressed an interest in this too weather permitting. I could take the defender if the weather is bad, although it'll struggle to keep the same pace weighing twice as much and being around 300hp less!!If the weather isn't all that, you appear to have a Disco...

Perhaps I misunderstood I thought it was around South downs which I Googled at about half an hour from me. Yes your right east Sussex is to far for me unfortunately
South Downs is huge I live on the western end of the Downs and I have a friend who lives on the eastern side. To follow the A27 all the way along takes about 2 hours+.
I also used to commute the widest part wickham to Alton a great drive and that’s a 45min journey.

South Downs is hugeMy earlier post was in response to Cats. Surrey is strategically well positioned in that respect.

I'm off the chart at the opposite end in Kent, so it will take me around that long to get to the start on 21st.I also used to commute the widest part wickham to Alton a great drive and that’s a 45min journey.
The same is true for any event outside my home county. A bit of a pain, but that's life.
