Err, bit of a problem over the food. Tankersley want me to contract to ensure the consumption of 150 pies @ £5 each, and want my credit card number to stop any losses incurred. I am not prepared to stump up for pie-associated financial problems, and I have refused to sign up. I am at a loss, because I don't really know how many people will turn up, although by the sounds of it, there will be at least 120 or so, with the elements of the TVRCC. Ted, can you help me out on this one?

OK all sorted again! They will merely put extra staff into the kitchens, and leave it to individuals to arrange their own bar meals, sandwiches etc, through the normal ordering process at the bar. Is everyone happy with that?

Sounds great Nubbin. And while we're at it, a quick vote of thanks to you for getting the finger out and organising this.

Will there be enough space for 150 cars?

And is anyone else travelling from up north?

(and by up north I mean before the M1 is invented )

So, for me, cause it's late, I'm tipsy and I forgot I had friends...

It's when?

It's where?

How do I arrive if travelling from some remote island near Blackburn and am not driving? (I have my own sick bag..)

Has nubbin arranged a prize for the person that finds his finger nail in one of the 3,000,000 pies on offer?

Looks posh - do I bring my clubs?

Hog roast, Nubbin? If I bring a raw dead one, can your man cook it? (I'm actually serious - though this might not endear people to answer question 3..)

Tankersley Manor, off J36 of M1, near Barnsley - reet posh, worra laff! ). Anytime from 11a.m. onwards, Saturday 15th. March, i.e. this Saturday!

Which God-forsaken part of Blackburn are you coming from? (I used to live on Billinge End Road, over the back of the park.)

As for a hog, thanks for the offer, scruffy, but they don't have any ovens big enough, apparently, so it's bar meals all round. We could try and do something like that next time, though. There is plenty of car parking, and it even looks like it'll be dry and warm!!! (Thankyou, God!)

If I remember, I'll get some sticky labels for you all to write your names on - ooh, how very conference, ducky!

See you all there!

Mick,

I’m coming across from Hull and was going to aim for 10:30 at Woolley Edge Services on the M1. I think West York’s are meeting there and was going to tag along, the info’s on here somewhere.

Cheers,

Simon.

The two main meeting points seem to be:

Tibshelf services at 10:30a.m.

Woolley Edge services, 10:30a.m.

Also a meet at Watford gap around 9:30, possibly some at M1, J28 around 10a.m.

The Lancs. area are meeting at the Tickled Trout hotel, next to J31, M6 at about 9:30a.m., and meeting a few more folks in Glossop, probably about 10:15-10:30, at a guess.

How's that?

For EVERYONE meeting at Tibshelf, I will be videoing the convoy from the bridge at J30 (South Sheffield). So make sure you keep in a bunch - Rudegirl has my mobile number, and will let me know when you're getting close - So, I want lots of noise (drop down a gear or two) and lots of headlights. I'll hopefully join up with you, though I do have some more venues planned if all goes according to plan.

If not, I will go ahead and video again on the dual carriageway that comes off J31, as you head to Tankersley. So more noise please, but headlights probably not required! (And don't tell Madcop, 'cos I think he'd disapprove )

Tibshelf is only around 5 mins north of Jct 28 so I would think most folks will be heading there rather than trying to coincide at the motorway jct.

I would say anyone planning to hover around Jct 28 should just plan on heading North a bit and get to Tibshelf for 10.30!

Anyone see the program on the South Yorks police last night... they hide and everything... Booooo

Cheers
