Here goes a potentially obvious question but I will ask any way, when I get to the gates Monday morning how do they know I'm on the list. Are you sent a print of code or ticket or something. Perhaps a secret handshake? Never dona a SS before so not sure.

In the same boat here unfortunately. It's what we get for being courteous to those on the original reserve list and removing ourselves in good time.

On the plus side, I think there is still every chance you will make it in to the top 500, so long as those that got automatically put on the new list but can't make it do actually notice there's a new list and remove themselves. Perhaps an early email should go out PH?

Well this just caught me out too. I was on the original list, but took myself off due to the weather in good time. Rejoined when the event was rescheduled, was well within the 500, just checked now & I'm down in 600-something. That's just soured my bank holiday Monday as I reckon over 100 folk removing themselves from an event a lot of them didn't even join in the first place is a non starter

I know this has come up before but as the limit is 500 + any on the reserve that are doing track time and that the track drivers will be parked in the padock:

Does this mean we have space/marshaling/safety for 500 cars in the main Sunday/Monday Service car park?
Could we (You) not move people tracking to a different list and let in probably another 40+ cars in a stroke?
I currently am way down the reserve list (as requested) but going on track so will get in anyway.

I got an email this morning from Silverstone giving details on everything.

The first line after "Dear Guest" in the body of my email had my briefing/track time in bold and underlined. You sure yours didn't?
