Great day as usual. The drive back in the Atom was epic.
Was yours the red one with the carbon seats?

But I’m sure it pales in comparison to the atom on a good road!

This was an excellent event. We had 10 x mk1 Honda Insights there. I burnt to a crisp though in the incredible sunshine. Thousands of cars and enthusiasts.. Only one thing missing, the ice cream van seemed to be awol or unattended.. He could have made a fortune.. ..

They're a strange beast. I'd say the GTR and Atom are the absolute opposite of what they deliver. It must be awesome to lean on every electronic aid to defy gravity, on the flip side it's a real wake up to have to manage 300HP, 600kg with zero safety net.

I'd never try and match a GTR on a fast B road.

I'll take both.

Pictures from yesterday, not many arty ones in this lot, was just snapping away. Loved the sign on the Model T, will be getting one of those made for the Griff biggrin
Great pics. Glad you got my dirty Ford GT. I forgot to take any pics at all while I was there.

Nice to see my NSX getting some love too! 2 red ones arrived just before me and i saw a yellow one later. Thats more common than buses... the LM002 was fab, as was the bonkers radial engined bike.

Pretty accurate summary, I can imagine the atom gets a bit scary at times!

Wise choice, I’ll go for both as well tbh

The Sunday Scramble offers some of the best photo opportunities of any car event.
Nice work, you've captured the atmosphere perfectly.

Thought I'd tag onto this thread rather than start a new one. I haven't been to the Sunday Scramble for a few years but may go for the October 7th meet. Does anyone know how early do they open the gates or does 9:00 am mean 9:00 am? I will be in my 1933 Lagonda and she doesn't like queuing for too long as eh plugs oil up. I'd rather get there early to avoid queues but just wondered what the form is these days? Sounds like it's increased in popularity dramatically since I last went!

I know quite a few have been put off and wont be attending because of the post 1989 cut off. will be interesting to see how the new format looks, how empty the place is, etc.
