Perfect weather and some seriously tasty machines on display, had a great time up until when I saw first hand how some people treat others pride and joy, respect other people’s possesions, no matter what they cost

Great day , wasn't expecting quite a large event , and great to meet fellow PH'ers who were very friendly and willing to have a chat.

A great day after the slow start due to the mix up.

Thank you to the PistonHeads team for organising our area - a great spot to watch the planes next to the VIP area.

And thank you to all those who came and asked about our car.

Regards,

Ed

Had a great day out - thanks folks! Some very fine cars on show, in PH area as well as elsewhere of course. First time I've seen an Intermeccanica, amongst others.

Great day out, perfect weather. Slight moment of panic getting the Flatnose over the bump into the display field (its lower than a gt3!) but great spot to watch the planes and have a picnic. My kids had a great time with all the activities around. Look forward to it next year...

Wow! What a brilliant event! The diversity of cars on display was incredible. In the Pistonheads parking, I think we decided on the Integrale as the car we'd most like, with the E30 M3 a very close second...

Elsewhere, the de Tomaso Pantera just looked perfect as did the old Porsches. Some really esoteric cars in the club stands as well.

Fantastic weather, great air displays as well. If they could get a proper track built, it would really rival Goodwood, as is so much easier to get to...

Flatnose looked fantastic. A proper dream car! Should be second after the Integrale, with the M3 third.

The lime green Clio V6 that made a fleeting appearance was pretty special as well...

Brilliant to have such a great event 20 minutes from home.

You and me both! I think I upset people both going in and coming out by swinging wide to take the shallower approach.

Was very cool seeing the number of child seats in "not so family friendly" machinery. Proper commitment from the PH community there...

Great Sunday Service! Thoroughly enjoyed the day and loads to look at an take in at Bicester. BBMF fly past was a highlight. Fantastic diverse collection of cars on display on the PH parking area too. Nice one.

Perfect weather, a wonderful variety of classic cars and old planes. What else to ask for! It's really pleasing to see 30+ year old cars maintained like new.
All the cars on the way back home looked quite dull biggrin

Ah, just the usual new scratch that appears..............
Makes me look closer at how other cars are treated, unbelievable really, watched somebody drag their camera tripod, which was strapped to the bottom of a camera bag, across the back of one the Porsche RS's, another guy struggling to carry a cool box, hit the rear of the GTR, somebody else, with a camera hanging from their neck, bend down to look and the camera swung into a car as he did, then some families set up camp behind the cars, complained about the smell as one of the cars started up, then let their kids go running around the cars (mine to be precise), using the cars to stabilise, parents completely oblivious to the danger, or the damage they could cause. I did mention it to them, but pretty sure it fell on deaf ears and was made to feel like I was the issue.
I've been going to shows for twenty odd years and peoples lack of concern for others posessions seems worse than ever, talking to some other owners at the show, I'm not the only one to think it either.
God knows how people cope with higher value cars.
Still, was a great day out and nice to see the car scene so strong, regardless

amazing turn out, will register for next year, but still unbelievable that people had left their dogs in distress in a hot car on a red hot day, glad I didn't see them go back to their car - idiots!!!!

A Family decided to camp right behind my car , as i was walking back to it i almost caught the Guy leaning on the wing to watch the planes.
He thought twice and didn't thankfully.

As much as i liked being parked where the action is , its clear a bunch of people weren't there for the cars and had no issue if they let kids play around them etc , use them as rests etc

Agreed, my scratch is on my spoiler, wasn't there on Saturday when I polished it, not a stone chip, looks like something has been dragged across it, goes three different directions in a line, I'm suspecting a watch strap.

That Aside , a very enjoyable day!

We left a bit earlier than most , but a brilliant drive home via the country roads allowed us to take some pretty good pictures!
