I think there should be penalties for those whose car colour description is above and beyond the basic black/blue/pink:
you know who you are!
BRG on an F-type is forgiveable...

Now I know cars are starting in number order I am regretting booking so early, going to be an early start Saturday! Looking forward to it though.

Have I missed that? Where does it say we are running in booking order? Also I'm sure it was mentioned that there would be some sort of video uploaded explaining the Tulip books? Have I missed that as well?

There was an email this morning with a bulletin with a few further details. As for Tulip books, I am working on the basis that they can't be that difficult, right?.......

With 12 empty spaces I'd be asking to swap into a later number that is vacant

70, 71, 74, 82, 89, 96, 113 are all unfilled

Having convinced the missus that sitting in the stbox for the day was a good idea, I now have to tell her she needs to be up at 5:00am for the privilege.

Thanks PH. Thanks very much.

The thing that worries me about the email is the 'certain substances' on the airfield... What might they be? Ketchup? Cheese? Very mysterious.

More likely to be loose material - concrete chippings....... (Kinda thing that you get on airfield track days)

In other words if you have immaculate paintwork it might not be afterwards (although at least there will only be one car running at a time so no risk to windscreens)

Mine is very cosmetically challenged at the best of times (not quite as bad as another club member pictured below)

To be fair he has done a fair few track days with it biggrin Not to mention knocking on the door of 200K miles

Can you run numbers on your car when you are going on the public highway? or do you have to put a cross through them.

The Race Number thing is an MSA rule (or was not sure if it's still in place)

MSA Reg Q11.1.2 states "Competition numbers must be covered at all times when driving on the public highway"

Think it should be reverse order for starting times - last to book, first to start - seems fair to me!!

Do the ‘event stickers’ have numbers, or just the pistonheads logo??

I've never seen event stickers where they are sequentially numbered - I'm sure it's possible but it would seem like additional expense that isn't required - I was assuming (I do a lot of that) that all would be displaying this

Although I would have thought 18 would be a better number than 98.........

Nice image!
Dilemma- if they are small enough to fit the rear 1/4 light then they will be too small to see - if they are bigger they will need to go on body work...not so good...

"You will be issued with 2 ‘event stickers’ which should be placed on the driver and passenger side rear windows. If you don’t have any rear windows, please place them on the nearest, most appropriate, sideways facing surface."

Great!! That means the doors then, hope they don't pull the paint off. (TVR...you never know biggrin)

I did a sprint with Javelin - the number stickers on the paint pulled all the lacquer off - made a right old mess. I'd only put the stickers on the windows.

Got to be Woodbridge.

===The autotests will take place on part of an old WW2 airfield. Whilst the concrete is smooth,
it is not billiard table flat and there may be ‘certain substances’ on the surface. ===
