Lets get our priorities right – BREAKFAST

Anyone wanting to get breakfast at the hotel, you can buy a breakfast voucher at reception (cheaper than buying brekky directly in the restaurant) for £10 for a full English buffet. You can also get breakfast baps in the bar, but that doesn't open until 09:00 so won't be any good for early arrivals.
What time is breakfast served from? Staying just outside Ipswich at my navigators gaff hopefully so SS&S and then roll in early for Breckky or have granola at his before we leave biggrin - easy decision provided he's OK with that

Driving at a steady pace, everyone should comfortably be back by 18:00 ahead of the trophies being handed out at 19:00.
For the judging "most lost" etc are you taking the cars mileage at the start and end in order to assess this category?

I presume there is a target mileage to complete the course in without mistakes etc biggrin

My car is 45 years old and modified with the wrong size tyres. The speedo (and therefore the milometer) is widely inaccurate and at very best a guide....... I wouldnt be surprised if thats the situation for a few of the older car participants

Could be - My last Pistonheads award was for “Best British Sportscar” at the mid point of an East Anglia PH section run through Norfolk and Suffolk

(In a car originally an Opel built in Germany badged as a Vauxhall and then frigged about with mob in Norfolk who added their own badge as well)

Anyway enough internets I’ve got to finish putting the refurbished wheels and new tyres back on and get it back to the garage for a full alignment check

That’s excellent, I’ll have a copy please… your account isn’t accepting emails though.

Also, if anyone fancies meeting up at Beaconsfield Services for the drive to Ipswich, we’ll be leaving around 7:15am, plodding along the M40, M25 and A12 at 65mph and stopping en-route for a coffee and a loo break.
May well get on board with this as I am in Maidenhead, Thanks for the offer. Just need to work out how I am meeting up with co-driver as he is in Chertsey.
Hi, I'm needing to set off much earlier than 7:15am now, so I'm going to head straight there. See you in Ipswich.

Many thanks.

My
Mistake - he’s not Nicky Grist but he’s Welsh and from a valley - easy mistake to make.
He’s also doing me a massive favour as I’d have to pull out otherwise.

I'm seriously impressed with the commitment to travel so far from some of you! Will have to give you a smiley sticker at least...

Jack and I should be in the bar (working, ahem) from about 2/3pm onwards today. So we'll see a fair few of you later on beer
