Membership of the museum is £60 for two adults and provides free entry to events like this one.

So, payback if you attend more than 2 events during the year. smile
Make that £125.

Seems to have gone up a little

It’s has gone up, the renewal letter I Just received even states it’s the first time it’s risen for several years.
My club level membership certainly wasn’t £125 last year.

Not conplaining, just saying

Long may Brooklands charge as it helps to keep number to a manageable level. Instead of moaning & expecting everything for nothing make a commitment to the long term survival of the museum it's priceless exhibits & artefacts & become a member.
You have only to witness the dreadful overcrowding at Goodwood Breakfast Clubs to understand what happens when you give something away & all the tight-wads turn up & probably don't buy even buy a coffee.

I'm not sure your reasoning holds true given that there was a massive turn out for the New Years day event and people were being turned away biggrin
