This is a long wait for the results to be posted, last time we had them before the end of the day.

The suspense is killing me!!

Was it just me, or was there a good half a dozen paid entries that didn't appear? Maybe I just didn't see them but I'm sure there was a few that didn't show up.

Marco, good to hear the Aston was sliding about on the time trials. Shame the parking wasn't nearby, would have loved to have been able to see it.

We followed the Aston for the first 2 hours of the morning and then went past after they missed a turn (Or maybe got tired of us being behind them) - it looked fantastic on the road and apart from struggling a little on the hills appeared to go really well. Unfortunately we retired at lunchtime as our little boy was sick as a dog from being hurled around in the back on the last hour of the pretty frenetic drive to Brands, and despite professing to have loved the autotests, he wasn't up for another 2-3 hours of back roads. Great (half) day out for us all the same and would definitely do it again, just 2-up next time.

Times are available here - https://www.gtmotorsportsclub.co.uk/uploads/1/0/2/...

Totally confused with mine, no idea where the 30 second penalty came from (car 58)...

Our results (Car 9) are incorrect as they have us down for the same start time (12:19) and same elapsed time for both tests.

So sorry to have missed this, I took part in the first Sporting Tour and enjoyed it immensely. Work commitments meant that I couldn't make it on the 12th.
I will be sure to take part in the next events. All for a worthy cause too

I thought we had got away with clipping a cone on the slalom... turns out we hadn't.

Good work to the Clio driver, helps my belief that my Clio is faster than the Elise we were in. I will try and upload some footage of our runs at some point.

We appear to have a penalty of 30 seconds. I know I didn't hit any cones so how do I find out what its for?

That was us. Following you was good, above board, nothing silly country lane driving hehe When you bottomed out in the dip on the open bit of road, ouch eek

We figured K-series, so 120bhp? It definitely shifted though! For your comparison, mine is standard engine wise, just on cook sport springs, camber, brembos and a few other usual things.

Haha the suspension travel was a touch inadequate for quite a lot of the roads we were on, it felt a bit brutal! It is 135bhp, but they are quite well matched to a 182 in my experience too.

Are you planning on doing either of the other Tours? My 182 should be taking part in both of them with any luck.

Anyone else surprised how much fuel they used on the twisty stuff? We did almost a tank full of momentum!! Had top up for journey home. Not sure which was more expensive the fuel bill or the £9.00 a glass for wine at the hotel!

I think you were chasing us in the morning; You managed to do a dissapearing act once we cocked up the nav. Making me wish I'd taken the back seats out biglaugh
Hopefully didn't hold you up too much!

Got a nice picture of you in chase:

I managed to use ~80% of a tank in my nice sensible economy 1.3; That may have something to do with not leaving 3rd gear though (VTEC yo)

It was bouncing about a bit. Ah, 135, good in that light weight car. I think it was evenly matched, we weren't going to overtake, that was for sure!

Probably the north one in July. We'll look out for you.

Did you check in at the Control in the Kentagon at Brands Hatch? That's where the timed test results were logged.

You guys in the Clio didn’t hang about. Every time we got away courtesy of some traffic five minutes later you were back. Every bend I think we were holding you up? We were the black Audi estate.

We were impressed with the pace of a larger car, we possibly could've pulled away, but you were making good process (with the missus in the car too)!

The clio just tells you to go faster, it's worryingly capable!
