Having been to a few Sunday Scrambles and been hugely impressed yesterday felt like quite a let down in my book.
Yes there were some cool cars but the site itself felt quite empty compared to usual.
First time at Bicester yesterday, and I enjoyed the day massively but it did feel a little sparse. On the Sunday scrambles are there more cars in the old base itself, or is it more in the car parks?Yes there were some cool cars but the site itself felt quite empty compared to usual.

The Scramble is one of the best events imo.Yes there were some cool cars but the site itself felt quite empty compared to usual.
I left around noon and the grass car-parks were almost as full as normal.
PS - were you heading southbound on the M40 around 12.30? Saw an Atom heading the other way as I was heading back up near Banbury...

really like the venue, gave a great photogenic backdrop. A nice variation of cars there and quite a relaxed feeling day , helped with the glorious sunshine.
That late 1960's vauxhall concept with split screen gullwing doors car must have looked like a spaceship compared to other cars of that era !
However a slight negative, on the Petrolicious website it clearly stated non members entrance was £12.50, but on the gate was actually charged £15 - a bit off really. The guy said I wasn't the only one that questioned this. Only £2.50 but the principle and all that.
( I hadn't seen this thread at that point, since there is a comment earlier on using the event brite booking tool which states the different gate price )
Would go again though and especially so if 'scramble' is even better.

Scramble is busier and has a lot of different cars, but I think Petrolicious managed to round up more unicorns...plus the photo opportunities were 10x as good at the Petrolicious event...Scramble is 'busy' in all senses of the word and parking is first-come / first-served.Gassing Station | Events & Meetings | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
