1) Etypephil + 1 (can offer a lift from the Colchester area or on the route to King's Lynn, considering overnight)

2) Oa

3) bolidemichael (can leave early Saturday from SW20 [or nearby] if someone wants a lift, otherwise staying overnight in Suffolk)

4) CharlesdeGaulle. Virtually certain, likely to stay local and make a night of it.

5) rider73 provisional

6) Big Pants provisional

7) Rubins 4 provisional

8) Big Ben provisional

9) and 10) Woolfox and The Don of Croy provisional (if we can agree on which chariot to bring - we are NOT travelling in convoy from effing Sussex to Kings Lynn...end of).
11) Prinny provisional
Sorry chaps, but a change of end of tour dates means that I now won't be back in UK in time for this.

I’m afraid I’m going to have to bow out of this one. I now have to travel to Durham on the Sunday and can’t disappear all weekend.

Disappointed. I’ll do my best for the next Loser conference: frown

The rugby is an issue... didn't expect to still be watching, but now it's kinda unmissable.

Should mean bargains for those who persevere!

I too will be watching the Rugby followed by a Leo to either celebrate or commiserate, so I'm out.

It looks as if there will 4 / 5 of us, unless things change during the coming week.
The address is:

The Cattlemarket
Beveridge Way
King's Lynn
Norfolk
PE30 4NB

I guess that there is an adjacent car park where we could meet. I will aim to be there from 09.30, in a black X358.

There's no car park, you just have to find a space round the industrial estate.

You're wise to get there early, as space soon runs out.

Thanks for the heads up.

I have just spoken to the auction bods; the restaurant will be open from 08.30 for anyone interested in watching the rugby, on widescreen TVs.
Bonus: free tea / coffee and bacon rolls will be provided at half time. cool

They claim that parking on the estate shouldn't be a problem, but there is also a hotel opposite which offers all day parking for £5.

Message as we arrive so that we can find each other? Does anyone have a better idea?

I'm struggling here... how was I to know that this year, of all years (certainly in the headmaster's memory!), the schools' half terms are staggered and so there are no activities on the weekend for the children. This, in addition to the RWC Final makes it very compelling to stay home - so it is with much regret that... I'm (likely to be) out.

I took my driving test in one of those (my dad's, I'd rolled my Mk1 Cavalier shortly beforehand, oops). Can probably count the number of those still on the road on the fingers of one hand.

Must not bid, nostalgia is not what it used to be and all that....

I'm sorry chaps, reluctantly I'm out. I've not been very well, and the meet's a tad more ambitious a trip than I dare this weekend. Have fun.

I didn’t see any of the others there, but did bump into an old mate who bought back the Rover 3500 estate which he owned years ago.
