"A ride for a ride" ........ Brave words in this forum Flasher?

I reckon something can be arranged on the car front.

I'm comming.........to the meet that is.

I suspect there will be over half a dozen Ultima's there if the weather hold's, 4 are confirmed already.

May even get the complete range!

Ok, I have a dilemma...and need some guidance:

Ruby is due to have repairs done after a "kissing" incident with a Clio last weekend. The ever-so-helpful assessor can only come out to see the car at the bodyshop next Wednesday (16th). This means Ruby will miss V.W. Now, I have 3 choices: 1) I will have to blag a lift with someone and show up car-less, 2) Bring my lovely, shiny Satin Silver Golf **OR** 3) I get the assessor out as scheduled, go to V.W. with an injured Ruby, then drop her at the bodyshop on the 21st. Either way, she'll only be ready w/ending the 25th.
She is road-worthy, no problem there. Do I want to show off an injured TVR?? What should I do???

Just bring her along anyway. She will get loads of sympathy from us lot....

You can't miss it and after this weekends crap weather, it must be better next weekend...

Saying that, despit the shitty weather I took my Tamora down to Kent all weekend. Don't think anyone in Bromley has ever seen one judging by the amazing reaction everywhere I went

Even had one car follow me to my sisters place just to tell me that they thought the car was awesome!!

Two weeks with it nestled in the garage had made me forget how great it is to own a Tiv...

Looking forward to VW next weekend. I don't care what the weathers like, I will definitley be there

Thanks for your help, peeps. I will bring Ruby next weekend, with her injuries. She can have a chat with her 'sister' cars, and exchange notes. I'm sure there are those who have never seen damaged GRP(?), may think it's really cool...and I think the extra attention may help Ruby feel better (did I really say that??) See you on the 20th!!
