My first trip to the Silverstone Classic this year was great. Some proper racing cars properly racing.
Others I've thoroughly enjoyed.
G'wood Revival and FOS
Le Mans
Banger racing at Arlington Speedway (yes, really)
Monza
Imola
Ones not so good
British GP (Overpriced)
Sepang (But only because we flew there for the weekend. Out Thursday back Sunday night. Utterly ridiculous
Absolutely Arlington...exciting short circuit racing and the bangers just make you smile all the way homeOthers I've thoroughly enjoyed.

and Le Mans, I go every year
I’d like to do Circuit de Remparts and also see some of the hill climbs in Europe
Sadly there is much that can’t be seen anymore; Group C at Le Mans and the ‘80’s supercars in Rally Cross...I know we have retro and classics but really not quite the same
The best I ever watched was the 1992 Daytona 500 with a seat in the Winston Tower. But the best bit was walking down by the fence when the train came past - just amazing!
Goodwood FOS was great in the 90s when you could get up close to cars and drivers. Sadly it has become a victim of its own success now.
An early 2000s ASCAR race at Rockingham was pretty special too - especially now it isn't in use.
Some great memories when my mate was racing bangers at Arena Essex in the mid to late 80s and in a field in Priestwood near High Wycombe.
Loads of great memories of my mate racing Saloon Stock Cars at Wimbledon, Aldershot, Wisbech, Arlington and Ipswich in the late 80s/early 90s and I got in free for those.
Biggest disappoinment was F! Qualifying in Melbourne in 2010 - you couldn't see much at all.
But the best by far were the few banger races I took part in at Arena Essex and Priestwood. Track days came a close second.

Tricky to pick stuff.
Being in the middle of Kielder with Mk2's blasting past only a few weeks ago was fun, but beaten by being late to RAC in 85, walking down the road to Clumber and Rohrl, Alen and Toivonen came past off the actually road, into the park road and were warming up tyres, that was annoying but also special.
Spending the next few years watching GpB cars in rallycross, getting to knew drivers, could write a page just on the experiences there.
First time I saw an F1 car, Rob Cox and Donington in a Lola! Paled into insignificance later in life by seeing a Top Fuel dragster for the first time.
Doing a few rally runs at Silverstone as a passenger in a 6R4, great fun and we nearly won.
Driving in autograss for a few years though never really having the money since to do anything properly.
My first few corners on the Nordschliefe were staggeringly exciting.
