Hi I’d like to join to at the Silverstone Classic 2022, given that it’s a classic meet I’d like to bring my classic Saab 99 Turbo but it’s not on the eligibility list ☹️ Can I be added please 🙏🙏

Also not having much joy adding my details to the list either 😢

Great lurking! All pre-2001 cars are eligible, so you'll be fine. You just need to get your package booked this weekend before booking closes tomorrow.

Are you struggling with our Wiki doc? Let me know what days you're coming and I can add you if so.

Hi Ben, I tried a couple of times but although I submitted nothing saved. I’m past the 26th so does that mean no go? I contacted the team at Silverstone but got no feedback. Don’t mind buying the weekend ticket but what about the car entrance ticket?

Yes unfortunately as I understand it, club bookings are now closed so you won't be able to book a spot in the PH area.

The club tickets are still for sale (you need to use the PH code) and having spoke to one of the organisers a couple of days ago, they are still accepting club bookings. thumbup

Turns out they're still accepting club bookings until the end of this month now, so the cut off is now July 31st. So a few more days to get yourself booked on!

Never been to the Silverstone Classic but fancy going, just looked at the admission prices and it is quite a bit!! Are there any discount codes I could use or any chance of any freebies or I am asking too much!
Thanks Steve

If you have an eligible car to book a club package and there are two of you, club packages include two tickets so they essentially work out at half the price of general entry. I'm not aware of any other discounts running.

I’d like to attend silverstone classic in my Aston DBS 2008… is my car eligible?

It is although I'm afraid club package bookings have now closed for this year.

I probably know the answer to this but no harm asking. Are we able to apply for infield parking passes if we already have general admission tickets? Got them ages ago, before the PH announcement about club parking went up.

You could try contacting Silverstone Classic to ask but as all of the club parking spaces have now been allocated, I think it's highly unlikely I'm afraid as we're only given the exact amount of spaces required for the cars we have booked on.

ve been on the silverstone site to book my car in with the club display code. I input all details inc piston heads code come back as price for weekend £143 I also added glamming for weekend at the sites golf course that came up at £118 but when I finalised payment it was showing pistonheads weekend pass but no final amount and camping for weekend pass but showing £118 and total £118?
Do I pay for the pistonheads through the pistonheads website or should silverstone website be taking the sub total, or does there appear to be a malfunction on booking form. Help:-/

You book everything through the Silverstone Classic website so we can't help on this one I'm afraid!

I'm planning on arriving early-ish on Friday morning and setting up camp before heading into the circuit. Might be too late to take the car in by the time I've got the tent set up but not sure that many people will be too excited about seeing an old Skoda anyway(!). Maybe I should just take it into the circuit on one of the other two days. What do you think Ben? What are other people doing?

I was planning on arriving Thursday evening and setting up camp then so I don't have to faff around on the Friday morning.

I'd say give it a go getting into the circuit if you fancy, they weren't turning people away when we were there in 2019 at least.

We're aiming to arrive on Thursday afternoon at Whittlebury campsite (I'm with PistonHeads my OH is with the Ginetta club) so that we can unload and take the cars onto circuit on Friday morning. We leave them on the club pitches for the duration of the show and walk to and from the campsite.

Not sure about access to the circuit on Monday. I think we may have to drive both cars back to the campsite sometime on Sunday Afternoon and walk back into the circuit for the evening music so we can pack our gear up on Monday morning.
