Just bringing this back to the top

Recently took a Porsche Cayenne down Elvingtons runway at 140mph i can confirm the surface is as good as brunters! so do we think it's possible to do a Northern Vmax as well as all the normal ones at brunters?

The runway seems to be slightly downhill one way, is this cheating? who cares!!!

Didn't Fifth Gear film at Mira and remark how next to impossible it is to be allowed there and they had special dispensation to be allowed to film?

5th gear used RAF Woodbridge for my Topspeed run, think its probably the best place. Much safer than Brunters & the same length. Joel did 215 there & even mine managed a 210.

Oh. I must have lost the reply. Which was:

I think Brunters is safer than Woodbridge. The last few VMaxs have had no cars on the runway at all and the surface at Woodbridge has grass and plants growing though it at the ends. Woodbridge also has painted white lines across the runway which can disturb traction if it's damp.

OK,,Brunters it is then,, Craig ,,,,,I SAID,, CRAIG,,,, dam,,forgot he`s on holiday. [maybe ringway would be an idea, they do anything for money, and they have no intersst in the `law`]We would go on one runway, the planes on the other.

Cant agree with that Guy, lots of run-off at Woodbridge if you misjudge your brakinG, do the same at brunters & you are dead.
