The event is from 09:00 - 16:00. No last entry for general parking, but naturally you'll want to allow as much time as possible!

is that gates open at 9am? is there anywhere to stop if arriving slightly early? coming from a distance so there is a potential to arrive really early or really late.

The joining instructions I have for my display car "implied" they have plans to queue early arriving general admission cars "off road".

But that may be reading way too much between the lines!

Certainly at the Scramble events the actual ticket gates are set back a fair bit from the road.

Yes gates officially open at 09:00 for the event, there's a couple of Starbucks nearby if you're super early.

Hi folks

I bought 2 tickets but my buddy now can't come up with me as the lucky boy is picking up a new car in the morning. Can he then drive up and join in his own car? I can't recall if the tickets were per person and per car or just per person in which case he should be fine? The tickets themselves don't offer any insight (unless I'm missing something).

Looking forward to this weekend, but for those coming from the North they might want to allow extra travel time. It seems the M42 will be closed for 3 days this weekend.

Tickets are per person so you can send him one to use, no problem thumbup

If its sold out can I return/resell my ticket? I'm not going to make it and someone else may as well use it. Or if anyone wants a freebie (donations to charity/PH/my bank balance, whatever) then let me know.

I'm torn by this. On the one hand it is a one off event that is not going to happen again. On the other hand it is a 200 mile round trip that I will literally have to repeat the day after plus some extra to go to Oxford for a couple of days for my wife's birthday.

Depending where in the North you coming from, M6-M42 to the M40 junction is pretty much the same time as M6-M5-M42 to M40, very little in it either way.

take the wife a day early, drop her at bicester village and get a hotel?

I was going to do the first bit but wife has made other plans, thankfully
