Entrance price way too high, that's why I didn't go, the cars we own are the stars that make the show, so to pay out the best part of a Hundred quid for a tank of fuel, get up at stupid oclock travel to event then be expected to pay £25 for other owners of cars to look at said car, sorry too much!
£5.00 fair enough but not £25.00 Also I'm mainly an American car fan so looking at a load of BMWs and Daily drive Porsches does nothing for me, but did notice a Nice 917 in Gulf colours
Don't be offended, just some honest feedback should you at PH decide to host another show.

I don't mean to be antagonistic, and appreciate you're just voicing your opinion, but what on earth has the start time and petrol cost got to do with PH?!?
Are you saying that as long as it was by the end of your road, started at 11am, was 95% American cars, and you'd get paid for displaying your car then you'd have been well up for it? In which case, I'd suggest you just find that car show and go to that instead.
The rest of us will be at another brilliant PH show having a great time.
150 mile round trip for me. I enjoyed the drive there and back and thought the show was really good too. It seemed quite a classy affair with a nice mix of cars, plenty of decent toilets and importantly without the usual pop and bang revving knob heads these sorts of events sometimes attract. It was a good day out.

Other mention is for the Powerflex Mooper. I don’t think I’ve seen a level of detailing put into a car in many years. It’s beautiful.

For an event hosted at Bicester Heritage, £20 is pretty much the going rate, so I don't really get all the moaning about cost. As soon as you step out of the door these days stuff costs money - may as well have a nice day out of it! Driving a car is expensive anyway, so what's another few £ for some enjoyment when you spend more than that filling up to commute to work week in week out...
I think a fair few people (myself included) are comparing it to a Collecting Cars event there, which was very similar in composition to what PH have put on the weekend just gone. Cost of entry; free. I really have no issue paying for entry to an event if I feel it’s good value, but I’m not sure the PH event compared well to the CC one when you pit the entry fees together.Granted, CC have an online auction site plus other business interests and tie ups to promote, unlike PH…

Yes there were lots and lots and lots and lots of Porsches...
corrected for you - but at least there were some lovely older ones... Did like the parking outside Singer For me the best area was the readers cars, but the lighting in the hanger was appalling, which was a shame.
Rare and exotic had some really interesting cars and it was great to chat to the owners.
Saloons, hot hatches , not my cup of tea, but there really seemed to be a lack of cars on display, but then walking the car park was brilliant, like the scramble used to be, if you ignored 911, 911, 911 oh something interesting, 911, 911...

aha, no not at all but I don't drive a mini My car will be on display at the NEC Classic car show over the 3 days, and as for more local shows in the South east, yes that's exactly what I did, a local show with Free entry. a mix of American and Supercars.
You run a Viper, but are worried about £25.fatboy18 said:

Just thought I'd share my thoughts on the event, as I had been looking forward to it ever since it was announced - it's safe to say I was not disappointed.
I'd decided to attend the event no matter what, and even though it ended up clashing with the BTCC at Knockhill I didn't look back! I travelled down with my good friend on the Friday, all the way from Edinburgh and stayed in Bicester itself. We managed to get dinner at Caffeine and Machine on Friday night - our first time visiting and loved it. What a brilliant setup, with such a relaxed atmosphere.
We then woke to the sound of all sorts of cars and bikes and we already knew this was going to be a good day. Entrance to the show was fault-free and everyone working did a great job at getting people in - they even captured everyone (I think) entering in their cars, my mate ended up buying his photo which served as a perfect memento.
We both couldn't believe the amount of stunning cars in the general car park - we don't get events like this up in Scotland so we ended up spending a good couple of hours outside the main event exploring all the different cars - stand out vehicles for me were the Lancia Delta Integrale, Spyker, Evo X FQ440, and the Alfa Romeo SZ.
We eventually decided to make our way in and had a good wander around all the different areas - we were really impressed with the venue, very different from a typical field, or car park in Scotland for car shows. The cars on display were a fantastic mix, and the rain didn't really dampen our spirits as we're used to it up North and were definitely on a mission to make the most of it.
I never once thought about my ticket price as I had such a brilliant day and soaked up all the atmosphere, including the £14 chicken and chips, wish I'd got the loaded fries now
Big shout-out to Pistonheads for putting on such a good event - we were really glad we made the effort to attend, and are already looking forward to the next one - hopefully sooner than 25 years time. It's a credit to yourselves the community that you have managed to create.

How many people did you kill?
None, it was a "Route National" Unmarked rozzers had recorded me doing 110mph in a 60mph (allegedly, I never saw any official measurement of speed) Car confiscated for 7 days, on the spot fine of 750 euros, we were in the countryside in the middle of nowhere! Driving licence taken, then the fun really started, 660 euros for taxi to hotel (cash only) then next day 640 euros from hotel to Calais, amendment fee (now foot passengers) then had to sort out logistics of retrieving car, had a friend in Germany who had a trailer so flew from London city airport to Germany, I was expecting to stay at his place only to find he had booked me a local hotel without my knowledge so more euros paid out, then pay for meal with friends, pay for fuel in his car and then to Police station in france for paperwork, then Storage fee, another evening meal then friend drove viper to Calais to ferry terminal where I then took over once in no mans land. So adding up the bills it came to £3.5k! Oh and I made the national newspapers too lol How many people did you kill?
