Well, the weather was naff but that was the only bad thing.
We had 110+ Cars with a decent range of marques. We also had the biggest
gathering of lamborghini's i have seen. Got all the insider details on a Gallardo , so that was handy

I think i managed to chat to most of you. If i missed you then maybe next time.

Brillient day, shame about the weather.
I'll be posting the pictures up tonight.

Thanks to everyone for turning up.

Cheers
Chris

I'll post the next event, on here. Will probably be September/October.

Just got back. Had a fantastic day. Jagdpanther it was good to meet you. LOL at Ben for organising a meet and not knowing where he organised it!

Was a very good day. There was an amazing cascade indigo Tuscan Mk2 there that was very very nice.

Enjoyed it thoroughly, pity about the weather but it was still a good day out.

I couldnt believe Ben didnt know where we were meeting...where you hiding Ben?

The colour on that Tuscan 2 was simply breathtaking...got quite a good picture of the TVR badge that highlighted the effect of the colour

Bloody Weather....

I was just about to get my new Morgan out of the garage and join you all, when the heavens opened, and true to form it rained most of the afternoon, so I made the reluctant decision to stay at home...

I was so looking forward to seeing Dave's (NTel's) new Tuscan.....

Never mind, I hope everyone that DID go had a great time.....

Thanks Chris for organising a great day, such a great collection of cars, loved the original collection of mini. Some beautiful TVR, Lotus, and a great crowd.

Great to see such a wide variety of cars. The line up of Lambo's was awesome. And when the tubi-exhaust blue Gallardo fired up and rev'd close to the redline I was deaf from that point onwards! That'll teach me to stand 2ft directly behind such a car.... (I think I heard him warn it was going to be loud).

Anyway, as my hearing is gradually returning, after 4hours!, I look foreward to the next 'Cars in the park'.

I'll get my photos and possibly some vid footage uploaded soon.

Good to also meet some new faces.

Chris:

May I echo Simon's thoughts for all that you did so we could all enjoy! Cracking day out despite the weather.

It was great to meet all the Lambo boys & girls but I'm not sure about them making me an honorary member

Hello Sir, Long time no see. I didn't know you got a Morgan, can't wait to see that. I assume the Tiger has gone. This is the new Tuscan.

Looks a lot better in the sunshine, when the colours really show through. Alas not a lot of that today though. Looking forward to meeting up with you again soon.

Yet another great meeting Chris. Thanks also for the great showing from the Lambo crew. Stunning machines. Despite the weather we still managed to fire up the BBQ.

I thought the turn out was fantastic given the weather. It shows that exotica does not melt in the rain or fail as soon as there is a bit of drizzle. Was good to see a good mix of cars and the line up of minis was good - I learnt to drive in a mini so brought back many memories.

Only problem with the day was that with a passenger in the Tuscan it kept grounding out over the bumps. Subsequently moved the springs up by 5 turns and its now a lot better, however still needs another couple of turns but I need to get the spring compressors on it first.

Maybe I should just lose some weight Maybe you won't need to fiddle with your springs then.

Have you found out why their slipping?

Can I say, on behalf of all the Lambos at the event today, we had a great day out, despite the weather. These are all-weather Supercars and hopefully we proved it today. None of that "fair weather nonsense"!

Particular thanks to Chris for allowing us to gatecrash the event.
All the cars there today, Lotus, TVR, Ferrari, Mini, Scooby, you name it, you all desreve a medal for coming out in terrible conditions to hang out with like minded souls.

We hope to be back next year, with even more Lamborghinis.

Thanks again to all who spoke with us.

Chris you did a great job in the organization of Cars in the Park yet again, was shame about the weather but a great turnout anyway.
jagdpanther (Scot) enjoyed our chat and nice to meet you, just seen what job you do, i bet you had a good laugh at how that Dvd of Chatsworth was edited, never mind i hope you enjoyed it all the same.
Hope you get a tvr soon.
