I spoke to Brooklands some time back,and yes there are considerable costs involved,hence it didn't go any further.

Much better to tag a PH event onto an event already being organised at Brooklands,IMO

VW is traditionally a winter meet, usually around October time. Let's get clear of Le Mans and then we'll get a strong turnout and it'll give me time to sort a better venue.

Don't forget the Goodwood Breakfast Club runs each month until September! Big gathering for a run in from Guildford again - 7.30am from the retail park.

Do you have a decent grid ref or address for ths start point.I may trundle up from Fareham just for the drive down.Which route are you thinking of?
Also,I wasn't aware the the VW thing was a winter event!I guess I should get out more!And besides, most winters my toy is in pieces having some sort of upgrade done!
