Hurlingham Club to host Salon Privé

This July sees the launch of what may become one of London's most prestigious private events, Salon Privé. Set in the elegant environs of the Hurlingham CLub, it promises to be a spectacular gathering of international luxury and supercar manufacturers, held during July 11-14.

In the past the Hurlingham Club has hosted the Louis Vuitton Concours d'Elegance, and now Salon Privé is looking to bring a world-class automotive event back to the venue - but with a difference. Salon Privé offers four day and three evening showings of the world's finest luxury and supercar models, coupled with music, food and wine, arts and entertainment set in a summer garden party environment.

Many luxury and supercar manufacturers will be displaying new models for the first time in the UK. For example, Koenigsegg is unveiling the £440,000 CCX, the world launch of the latest Marcos TSO GT2 has been confirmed and there will be new models from Lamborghini and Ferrari. Bentley will have a significant presence with its Arnage, Bentley Continental GT and Flying Spur, as well as giving the first public sho wing of the Continental GTC Convertible. Other cars at Salon Privé wil be the Maybach 62, Maybach 57S, McLaren SLR, Mosler MT900S, Shelby Daytone Coupe and the Rolls-Royce 101EX.

David Bagley, MD of Performance Events sys: 'Come July we anticipate some 70 to 80 cars here and up to 1,000 guests per day enjoying good food, live music and all things luxury.'
