Just got home after a fairly miserable time packing the tent away in the rain and then a long drive home. At least the traffic was fairly light.

I think I managed to miss loads of people I wanted to say "hi" to, but I'm sure there'll be another time.

Still, it was a great weekend and it was nice to see those people I did manage to see.

I was around on Saturday, Sunday and today, but still seemed to manage to miss everyone.

Still, it was hard to recognise anyone with all the hats, coats, jumpers and the like.

I was only there yesterday so I got back yesterday evening.

I saw you Jon, I was the blue Griff giving you a wave as I drove up to the PF area. I think at the time I had a PH cap and sunglasses on so I was only half-incognito.

I really enjoyed it, but I wish I'd made more of an effort to meet people

That's how I felt too, but with the blummin' awful weather, we stayed holed up in Trackside Towers drinking beer. By the time we got into the beer tent, my power of speech was fading fast, let alone my eyesight.

The band did do well!! Besides the great entertainment, they managed to not be too loud which is often a problem...

The band were brilliant - really enjoyed it. Trouble was our lad totally flaked at around 10.30pm and we had to go back to the tent.

Still, we really enjoyed what we saw of the set.

I saw you wave and I thought to myself "Hmmm, I recognise him." and then you were off, never to be seen again, before I was able to fully react. So a big to you now.

I've already posted this in another thread, but I think it sums up the weekend

The band were EXCELLENT. I hope they'll become the resident Pistonheads band!!

We had the fab full brekkie at Tirrells restaurant - set us up for the drive home. Tent pegged out on the clothes line, along with the gazebo, etc. What a great night, and the band were amazing! Can't remember the last time I pogo'd to Kaiser Chiefs (or any music for that matter). May have had something to do with Mr. John Smith and his thirst-quenching pints I pray for better sleep tonight!!!

Sorry I had to depart early, had some house buying business to attend to. I was due to leave Sunday morning, but i was SO Cold in my tent, I thought this for a game of soldiers and stuffed my tent and stuff in the boot and drove down south in the early hours of Saturday night. Slightly quicker than the way up

Nice to catch up with some old friends and meet a few new one's as well

I'm sorry I didn't come and talk to you about your V8, Stuart, but I admired it from afar and got a few photos on my phone. A stunning beast!

Worse than that, Marquis Rex (Rupak) had the indicator units nicked from his 993. Utter bastards, it was PF, not a bloody free parts department.

Good to meet everyone, makeshift Gazebo marquee was good fun, especially when we lit a real fire inside to try to keep warm. Good laugh all round, BG junior learnt a hell of a lot I think dont tell his mum! stories of logging and firearms were classics, and minimax teaching him how to pour a beer in a glass, then leaving him with a plastic pint glass of Becks. Responsible parenting?
The weather wasnt too bad except this morning, its my idea of fun packing all away in the pissing rain, then having to dry it all out again and clean it when home.

Thanks to everyone for a fun weekend.

Er? was there a race on or summat?
