Great fun but too short. Good to put faces to the names. Wrecked tired now. Got back at 6.30 as had to detour via Stansted.

Pitched next to touchingcloth

Don't ask about this one....it made sense to Charlie at the time...

Does anyone else ache? I think its a combination of cold, too much beer, fresh air, camping and the damp.

Everywhere. Combination of cold, strange sleeping positions, unaccustomed excercise and probably too much beer.

Edit: Agree with 'Ted - fresh air too.

Yes - Head from dehydration, arms and shoulders probably from the wet and cold and my feet - I have not stood on them for that long for ages.

Can we do it all again some time ?

The aches are nothing compared to the ridiculous croak that comes out of my mouth when I try and say anything.

That last play of "I predict a riot" might just have buggered me up properly!!!

Back home safe and very tired, Tunnel Run Saturday and PF Sunday makes for not a lot of sleep. Rain held off for my journey back which was good as had no working wipers.

Good to meet some faces - tent neighbour Irish (I think I may have your tent peg bag by the way, will mail you in a bit), Nerv and the Norfolk posse, Frik, LoftyD (that name does make sense now ) and probably a few others I was introduced to when very drunk who I have already forgotten.

All good fun, look forward to the next one.................. (St Tropez or Monaco would not go amiss for PF07 though, my fingers are still blue)

I got back at about 7:30, stopped at south mimms for coffee and to check my roof which decided to fly off as I accelerated past 1.2 leptons on the motorway!

I just managed to catch it before the whole damn thing came off! I had the window shut too...that was a buttock clenching moment I can tell thee! bloody hell...

so, neil, sorry we lost you but I had to stop on the hard shoulder rather suddenly!

ah well, they all do that sir is the most probable explantion I suppose!

I meant to ring you to let you know but I couldn't even flash my lights at you as I had one hand on the wheel and one hand desperately trying to keep hold of the roof in the 3 figure wind force! funny thing is, I was doing that speed trying to catch up to you after we'd had a little of our 'runs' it was great up to that point! must meet for beer again!

Who was it that kept making me shout "more" last night (ok, this morning) when the band stopped!?! God my voice was near non-existent this morning!!!

Ah well - excellent time. The band were really good and in my worse-for-wear state I didn't hold back in telling them. More than once . Each.
