Firstly i must thank everyone who made this such a great event

For me,

Arsing about in cars on the grass. Putting so many faces to names ive seen on here - and i met the gaffer!
Getting very drunk both nights. Doing air guitar to the band (until Bob the planner picked me up and we both fell over on the dance floor!) Cramming into Pwigs Jag and putting the heating on. Helping nonegreen find his tent after he lost it. Alex's delicious pheasant (only asked if i could borrow his bbq and i ended up being fed!) i told Zo-fo to come and try some even though he told me on 2 occasions hes a vegetarian oh yea and having a beer fight

I came down in Andys Capri - if i spoke to you while drunk then i apologise

Watching people getting told off about donuts

Sitting in one of our groups tents in a circle drinking red wine with a disposable BBQ in the middle of the room and 6 tealights telling ghost stories. (The fumes man )

The farting competition, Dave you won

The restaurant Breakfast was ace

Lowlights:
Waking to a flood on the groundsheet of the tent and soaked shoes (squelch)
The cold (brrr)

The band were deffo a highlight for me, well done to those lads.

Enjoying eating and drinking too much while sitting in the sun on Sat afternoon.

Meeting some of you lot!

Playing aerobee!

Waking up this morning to find one of our party missing - turned out that after the party ended and we had all gone to bed he had driven to the toilets and fallen asleep in the car park (no names)

Partying!

Beer....

It was cold so Owen comes up with a plan ...................................................

lets light a BBQ and put it in the tent!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic idea, centrally heated tent.

I shall wait till next gathering for challenges to the farting title.

All in all, a good time was had despite the weather. Band was excellent (thanks Steve for trying to get a mosh pit going)

The ride in the Warrior and watching the racing under Nervys Porsche blankett .

Watching Minimax run.. like a girl.

I can't remember the rest of the evening!

Waking up this morning to find Neil_Cardiff's tent open (inside sodden), all his stuff outside (sodden), with him nowhere to be seen. Still hadn't shown up by the time we left mid-morning today.

Given his (alleged) "food poisoning" the night before, and given the fact that my car was full, I left him our bucket and 4 cans of TangleFoot.

Hope he's ok.

Edit: Talking to Pikey & PetrolTed and Pikey starting to recount an anecote and 'Ted just walking off without a word because (Pikey said) he'd probably heard it a hundred times already and was bored with it.
(Seemed funny at the time anyway)

Ah.................that was your Spitfire, didn't realise. I did see it but didn't connect at the time. I was parked with the Northants briagade on Sunday but was only about briefly 1-5pm and mainly wandering around either watching the racing, eating or catching up with people.

I had no idea we were so interesting to watch...hmm. did we do anything embarrassing? I have very little memory of last night although I have had a few flashbacks since!

I had one of the best nights ever last night, everything went right...it was almost like being on a higher plane of consciousness, I was in a simply euphoric mood

what a fantastic night

Morning!

Got suitably trashed again with some usual suspects, and managed to secure a bed for the night in a lovely centrally heated cottage (cheers Corrine and Emma) - I think I would have died if had stayed outside again.

Oh, and Jon, I did appreciate the irony in you leaving me your 'special' bucket... I had to tell Psychobert to not touch it

Saturday...
The hoon down in flyingjase's Tuscan S (and having a drive!)
Saying "ah, that's you is it?" to lots of people only known by their daft PH names
Meeting someone else I know from sailing circles (not a clue he and his mate were PHers and TVR nutters) within 2 mins of arriving and knowing we have our "drinking buddies" for the weekend!
Saying goodnight to srob in the beer tent and finding him outside 25 minutes later, face down, 3 feet from the beer tent...
...watching him fall face down again after an attempt to return him to the vertical...
Never seeing minimax's TVR going the way it was pointing

Sunday...
Eventually getting to the front of the breakfast queue only to give up my place so I could
Getting over a hangover in record time
The amazing walking tent stunt
Getting back "on it" at 2pm after hoooooj hangover
The band (best bit of the weekend!!!) they were legendary!!!
Getting the SPANK IT! chant going!

Awesome weekend, certainly be back next year, big hello to all those who I met!!!! Great bunch of like minded peeps!!!

Hey! I did clean it thoroughly, I hope you realise! No insult intended at all (although I did hope it would make you smile).

Edit: Glad you got somewhere warm and dry - we were a little concerned how poorly prepared you were for arctic camping.
