This may be an advantage in that the rules of the game should be the same which ever track you pick. Cadwell and Oulton are superb spectator circuits, facilities at Oulton are similar to Snetterton, Cadwell's are a lot better. The 24hr race may be difficult to find but how many PHers actually took active interest in the race, or were there to see the end?
Fair points Bob, but it was the proposition put together by MSV and Stingray that made it happen at Snetterton this year.

I think thats what my sat nav said somewhere along the A11 just as it finally gave up..
Bit of a drive to get there, just as well I like driving
Don't know if many people managed to explore, but there are some cracking roads in the area..

BB&T05 was exactly that. A camping BBQing beer swilling weekend in July. I plan to do something like this again. Low key, come if you like sort of thing. Pay at the gate so if the weather's bad you can decide not to come if the weather's good then come and enjoy. There was no marquee, no band but that could be sorted.Psychobert said:

We weren't lost - it just took a while to work out where we were on the map!
I did enjoy the racing, watching much of it. thinmk only missed part of the afternoon on sunday when nipping to Lidl for some grub.
May i advise - if the time of the year PF happens to be warned on July/August time.. more August - many years we've found that August is a hard time to camp. while its blisteringly hot during the day, night time the clear skys lead to plummeting temperatures, manys the time i've been sat in a beer tent for Bloodstock in Derby with several layers of jumpers and winter coats and the temperature is lower than it twas this weekend.
suprisingly we've found March and september to be good camping weather

The first year we did the race in june it was 27 degrees in the day and 10 at night and seemed just as cold as this year ,however we are trying to get the race back to the whit weekend rather than mayday so its not quite so firkin freezing.
I'm sure that with more time to organise the fest all three sides can improve things,it was a bit of a rush job this year.Maybe ted could get the use of the skidpan next time, might save them worrying about the grass so much.
Hope you all come again.
