Whilst the jacuzzi seemed perfectly set, did anyone else think that the pool was a few degrees under?

It was a tad cool, but at least we could be safe in the knowledge that the open log fire would warm us up, having cooked a delicious meal in the fully fitted kitchen.

ya swines! On the first night I systematically put more and more clothes on during the night to eventually wake up in full on arctic-dress it was that bloomin' cold!

Strangely, on the 2nd night, I slept somewhat well - ignorant of the temperature...

I'd have rather pierced my foreskin with a blunt screwdriver. No mate, we were in a grey Mercedes E220 so no surprise we didnt get noticed

Nope i think the pool was just right to be honest, although the central heating was a touch on the stuffy side Monday morning over on the east wing I'm certain of.

However a revitalising power shower followed by a brisk hop across the courtyard to indulge in freshly prepared 'sweetcure' bacon rolls and Earl Grey tea at Chez 'PodCor' quickly restored my heating imbalance.

They had a fantastic log fire don't you know!
