Not sure what the plan is yet. Will post here if the missus can't get the day off.

I have got two tickets to go on the Friday. Thing is that the missus might not be able to get the day off work so it could be the case they go up for grabs. Might just wander down with a mate though, we'll see. If I do sack it off, I'll put a post up on PH saying they're available.

Can I nab them if you do? How much do you want?

Missed the Sunday Times offer on the 18th!!!. If anyone has two tickets for the Friday that they cannot use, then I could put them to good use and take my brother for his first Goodwood experience. Please e-mail if you can help to martin@mb-motorsport.co.uk. Many thanks.

Sorry, can`t help with tickets but for those of us that have them for Friday, how about a meet at the Ladymead retail park in Guildford (a la GW breakfast meets) at 7:30 for an entertaining run down in company? There`s a similar post on the restricted tunnel runners forum with some interest but as always, the more the merrier!
Please don`t let me sit there alone wondering where everyone is.....

so is there going to be a convoy going there? Is it worth going in a nice car/sports car or would more practical air conditioned transport be just as good? Says on the leaflet that low slung sports cars may have trouble parking!?

Also is the friday a good day to go on? I take it it wont be anywhere near as busy as the sat or sunday or am i wrong? Never been before so not sure what to expect and what will be going on the friday?

also may have 2 or 3 spare tickets for the friday no one can get the day off work by the looks of it so just me on me own (billy no mates), not sure as yet will have to check!

I will be there on the Friday.

Might even wear my pistonheads t-shirt if it is still hot.

Guys

I will be attending with a mate but now (frustratingly, due to cancellation) also have 2 spare tickets for Fri, Sat and Sun. General Admission (not Grandstand).

Would be happy to sell them at face value (or slightly less to a PHer). I am currently in Dublin but will be flying in Friday morning so could deliver them at the front gate.

Am moving over to London in about 6 weeks and, despite never having seen a TVR in the flesh, I am pretty much determind to buy a Tuscan (wife permitting). The 'slightly less' part would be greatly enhanced if one of you could let me have a look at a Tuscan while I'm over this weekend

I'm going on Sunday if anyone fancies a pint at lunchtme or something.

I'll probably be wearing my Creation/SpeedChills t-shirt from LM this year as I foolishly forgot to get a PH tshirt for that

To tackle your questions in order:

Convoy? Not noted much interest yet, but in classic Ph style, there might be a rush at the end - keep looking up to the last minute. My route takes me past the proposed Guildford meet point so I`ll swing by anyway.

It`s always worth going in a nice/sports car - that`s what they`re for! Lovely roads down (assuming you don`t live on the coast) and as with most events of this type, the car parks are an extension of the show! You have to be SERIOUSLY low to have a problem in my experience and setting out early avoids sitting in traffic and hence the need for air con.

Friday is a good day, marginally less busy than Sat or Sun & the action is the same all 3 days so you won`t miss anything.

Take a picnic and a camera. See you there!

Was advised as I was queuing that my Ultima may have issues with the car park entrance so they sent me to a different gate which I entered without problems despite it actually being the exit.

If anyone wants 2x tickets for the Saturday (8th July) I've just listed them in the Classifieds here -> www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/86625.htm

I simply cannot go now, so am offering my tickets for less than their face value (with free postage too!) at £70 the pair.

I have One spare ticket for the Friday which i doubt I'll be using. A mate who was going with me cant make it now so its up for grabs.

If you want it drop me an e mail to tonyg_tvr@hotmail.com

I may not be able to reply to e mails this evening but will do so first thing in the morning and i can put in the mornings post. If you live local to Chalfont St Giles (Bucks) you'd be welcome to come and collect...

Cheers...
