Classic Le Mans

Is anyone going to the Classic le Mans in July, taking the Cobra and travelling through night to catch the Thursday am Ferry from Portsouth to Caan. Nigel

Going from Portsmouth at 8am but on the one to Cherbourg

Me, my cob and about 60 others on the Weds night crossing from Newhaven!!!!
That boat is going to be rocking when all that power starts up in Dieppe

Yes am going down on the Friday morning on the tunnel.

Taking my Dad as he loves classic cars,i'm really looking forward to it aswell.
Looking forward to seeing the difference from the main event 3 weeks earlier.

Not camping in the circuit though,am staying approx 20Km North of Le Mans at a campsite in Beaumont-Sur-Sarthe.

Taking the GT down with another circa 10 GT's in convoy on a trip organised by Roush, my first classic, looking forward to it!!
Only chance to get the other half in the car for more than an hour as the trip includes Roush transporting the luggage!!! And we all know that is the most important thing to the ladies!!

Have been looking forward to this for nearly 2 years now.Imagine the sheer horror when I actually started to plan several months ago only to find that the event date is that of my daughters 21st BD.The sacrafices I have made for that girl (shake head and tut several times).Oh well,the E type isn't ready any how.I am not one to wish my life away but am already looking forward to 2008.I just know you all don't need telling but hope all goes well and a splendid time is had,enjoy!
