Ah, thanx Nik -yes on the east side of the A332. From my memory, very rutted approach and bumpy grass.

Good point, the nearest pubs would probably be in Windsor.

I don't really think that this area of the great park is suitable due to the gravel track and the uneven grassy areas. I am going to think of an alternative.

I think thats right,Can't see the Ultimas getting there!! What about Jousts suggestion in Chertsey?

This area of the Great Park is where I go running most days and is probably not suitable having looked at it this morning. Shame really as there are some great pubs in Windsor!

I can confirm about the crown estates being strict, they stopped me running one day as a security precaution!!

Yeah, Windsor Great Park is a bit crap. Big lumps of gravel(boulders) and pot holed field.

I like the sound of Chertsey though!
