bugger,
I have organised a meet with the tvr essex lot that day up near maldon. we are due to start around 1pm and will be grabbing some food after that,
If anyone lives in essex and wants to pop in then here are the details so should be a good mix of cars, mostly skylines and TVRs.

on TVR/Skyline meet.

Date: 9th March
Time: 1pm start
Venue: The Forresters Golf & Tennis Club, Great Totham, Nr Maldon, Essex.
Directions: www.midessextvr.co.uk

Sunday Carvery, 2 courses for £8.95, really good value. The restaurant is lovely and seats about 100 people. 70 of those
are usually TVR people. So there's space for 15-20 Skyline for lunch.

PS There isn't a dress code at The Forresters, except they do not allow hats! Also because we have been kindly invited by another car club to join them, NO fly pasts or doughnut's in the carpark! Not that we do that just a gentle reminder that's all

Just a note to ask everybody to behave sensibly on Sunday after a handful of incidents during/after the last meet, one, which may have been catastrophic for the owner, could have been far, far worse if any other vehicles were involved! Yeh, boring, I know, but we'll be painted with the same brush as the white cap backwards mob in their Nova's etc. if we're not careful.

And I've got to live around here!!

How do I get on the invite list to these Essex events.... I live around the colchester area and the VW event is a long way to go.

Hi All, posted this thread on the 50 Griff to VW post.

"Just as a by the by, has anybody thought to contact the car park officials to tell them that P/H are arriving mob handed. It would be beneficial around if BOTH barriers were OPEN and WORKING this time".

Has anybody given this a thought?

Big Al.

For those of you who want to meet up for a quick mini convoy to VW from Longacres nursery, the plan is to get there for about 10.45, have a quick chat and then run down to VW just along the A30. Longacres is near Bagshot (or s**tbog as it's known by the locals ;-) on the A30, London Road, just off the A322, near the M3 J3. Map here - www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?G2M?X=491752&Y=164555&A=Y&Z=1 . Directions here - www.longacres.co.uk/direction.php

Hope to see a few of you there.

Cheers,

Andrew

Why are you selling your car? Getting a T350 too?

My 3 year old daughter loves the car ("FASTER, DADDY, FASTER - WHOOOHOOO !!!), but my wife hates it when we can't go anywhere without having to take 2 cars or leaving her (my wife, not my daughter ;-) behind. Now some people might think this is actually a bonus but it's been absolutely great and we've had our fun in the car and now it's time for something else . . . .

I'll be there at Longacres for the journey down to VW.

As I haven't bought the new toy yet, I will be in the BMW Cab.

Cheers

Bu$$er - never got a chance to clean the car today - bloody gales and horizontal rain here. It looks an absolute sh!t heap - inside and out. Should I venture over to VW or just leave it under the car port?

Of course - and the numbers should be up again as this one coincided with a big TVR Essex meet . .
