Problem: Went diving on holiday, five weeks ago, result: ears blocked, pardon? I SAID EARS BLOCKED.

Solution: Carzee.

All the brains of the medical profession have been able to achieve is comments about taking time, drops, pills, waiting... four weeks, a month or so......

But no!

One visit to Virginia Water is all that was needed!

At 12 O'clock funnily enough!!

Was it the Mini's (and the Satsuma) behind me? probably not

Was it the Cerberas either side?

Was it the bank of (what is the collective noun for..)Ultimas facing me? ....

Could it have had anything at all to do with Carzee? PH's own resident soothsayer, guru of all things political, and now famous quack for Ye Anciente Remedie for Alle Ailments of the Perfonne including Consumption, the Balance of the Humours and ye Healing of the Mutt and Jeff....

Thanks Dr Carzee I can hear in my left ear today, first time for a month. Please check whether any other PHers need your ancient recipe.... before you get it fixed!

(That's another IOU)

(And a fitting tribute heard across the rest of the South of England )

Probably later when I get home. I also got a sample of an outburst from Mrs CarZee which is quality, but will probably be edited out before posting (for the sake of the Sisterhood! )

Anything you can offer to help the right ear warmly welcome!!!

I think I should be able to appreciate a good clip this evening.

Doh - not a "clip round the ear" as me mum used to say!

Mel

I think he was unconcerned with my outburst; he was just relieved that he'd managed to snatch his dozy offspring from under the wheels of your Griff!

edited to say (in the light of other threads) that no need to worry, Mel was driving very courteously near the children and stopped while they moved out of the way, and they didn't actually hear me swear - the joke was my reaction when I realised there were children in the vicinity. Don't want to be over-defensive, but realise that non-PHers might read this and infer that we'd been behaving badly.

Even my mother wouldn't recognise that descrption!

Good opportunity though to say that I spent yesterday in the company of some of the nicest people I have met in a long time. Thanks Chaps
