My first and hopefully not my last VMAX , fantastic day out

Where else can you see more 911's than you can count on 2 hands , a very nice Lambo ,

a 360 spider doing run after run after run and a DB9 all being driven how they were designed to .

Ps hope there's not too much damage to the elise and hope the "crazy golf" gti gets repaired as well.

Thanks to all for a memorable day

I'm assuming that the heat would have taken it's toll on speeds, what was recorded out of interest?
I think 192mph was the best on the day - courtesy of the RUF GT2.

By 'Elise' if you mean my Exige there is nothing wrong with it. I had one impressive spin and ran onto the grass but there was no damage.

Only spun it twice in over a years ownership and 7 trackdays - both times at Brunters. I think all the space makes me push a bit harder than usual

Thanks Craig and Team a truly outstanding day of great fun with fellow enthusiasts - thaks for the invite! Already looking forward to the next one in cooler temps if you don't mind.

Guy - your record is safe as I could only post a mere 192 in the conditions!

Hi Craig and all the team,
Thanks for a great 'Sahara Vmax'.
I arrived first, left early to miss the traffic, but there wasn't any!
It was wonderful driving down the runway at 30mph,hot air ballons drifting overhead, not a cloud in sight, tranquil, apart from the swarms of killer flies...!!!
I really enjoyed myself and of course loved the "Runs".
Fab chatting to new and old "Vmax-meisters".
Looking forward hugely to the next one.
Cheers, Mark.

Thanks Craig, great day out even tho i only arrived at lunchtime. Thanks also to Steve for giving me a passenger ride while he put his new rear tyres through a 720degree spin 'heat cycle' round the bottom bend. Mental...

Great day if a little on the warm side. Thanks to Craig and to everyone else for the passenger rides.

I am becoming a little depressed with my position in the 180 club Some tweaks are most definitely required for the next vmax.

What a top day! Good to put a few more faces to names, and have a chat with some more familiar ones.

It was Jamie, Craig's cousin IIRC, but I'm not sure how good it'll be as he seemed quite interested in getting a firm grip of the door handle

Proper (and slightly more humerous) post to follow, but huge thanks to everyone for making it such a special, if a little hot day. Tom amazingly only got one run (thanks Rob), instead preferring to luxuriate in the relative freeze that was the inside of The Lexiod.

Thanks also to MOD for the run in the 'Nana - now ballistically fast.

Special thanks to RG and Pods for stirling breakfast duties - and my God did I need that sausage buttie

Final thanks to Craig, Andy and the team for another splendid day.
