The drive to the Venue was quite nice too...

Made it down to the elephant (or something like that) at the bottom of the isle of dogs with Bo_apex - we took the scenic route through the wharf. I stopped by the Gun a little later to see if anyone made it there but nothing - didn't stop me enjoying a shandy or two. Longer drive next time for sure - not sure Southends far enough for a "long" drive judging by the pace on Sunday.

Damn... we effectively looped over Isle of Dogs trying to find you guys (down Westferry road all the way through the other side) but could not find you guys. We later parked with John in Canary Wharf for lunch, a cold beer and talk...

BTW, whilst I noticed the guys who were washing Tony's Diablo looked in heaven (bet they never got their hands on something of that calibre...) I couldn't also stop to watch their elaborate 2-bucket technique... just hope they left the Lambo paint in 1 piece, not marred, not scratched, nothing.

It was a great event. Speaking of which I forgot to upload some pics. Will do this in a min.

...well, we had to go slow coz we were waiting for Del, Del, Del, Del, Del ...that's why I went around the roundabout at Aspen Way twice to let him catch up ...we didn't want to leave him behind as he gets lost quite easily in the big city!!!
