Roll up, Roll up (<< see what I've done there) News Hot of the Press.

The inaugural German Pork v British Beef (that's Porsche and Tvr to you) Rolling Road session is set to take place on Saturday 23rd September at the infamous Surrey Rolling Road.

10-12 cars from each manufacturer required. Cost is £35 per car to run, alternatively feel free to turn up for a gander and a chinwag if you don't feel like running. More details will follow but in the meantime we will put up additional posts in the respective forums for each side to gather their forces. Team Porsche contact is Jamie Magic Torch and Team Tvr is me.

Start time is TBC but will probably be around 10ish and it will take about 6 hrs - we will run in batches of 4 as Charlie can only have a certain number directly outside his facility at any one time, other cars can park up in the nearby (safe) car park at the entrance to the site and then you walk over until it is time to bring your car in - only 50m away so just a short walk back and forward come change over time. Will try to have rough time slots so if you can't make it until the afternoon we should be able to sort it out, once we have the attendees sorted will update this thread with the teams and sort out the running order.

So, bragging rights on the line, lets see what you got.... oh and let's keep it friendly, it's just a bit of fun :-)

TC.

My Car is pretty much stock, so you've got an easy target boys / girls.

I should be able to do late morning, so if I could get a slot about then count me in.

Also completely standard.

No problem at all, as one of the first to have replied, you can have your pick of the time slots as far as I am concerned Be good to see you again.

Now if you don't mind adding your voice to Jamie's thread in the Porsche forum that would be great cos it is in desperate need of a bump - hell whilst your at pop by mine in the Tvr forum and give it some fighting talk cos I haven't got any replies my end either. This could be a very quiet and very quick day at this rate

Welcome aboard, sure Jamie will be along shortly to say hi. Charlie tells me you have a bit of a monster there and we should prepare ourselves for flames You can hang around with us Cerb drivers if you like, you'll probably scare the dickens out of the pansy 911 boys

Watch out or we'll enforce a rule about having to get to and from the RR under your own power ...
