Will be interesting to see how much BHP the modded Tivs put out against the manufacturer's standard claims...

Are you implying that Tvr's don't always match the manufactures quoted figures
Probably right, my non modded (barring noisy exhaust) only produced a meagre 15bhp more than the quoted figures last time I ran it.

At the risk of incurring some serious ribbing, can someone please confirm for a first timer what the criteria are to win this for us Porkers?

As Ricc said somewhere (damn these multiple posts, seemed like a good idea at the time ) it is ultimately just a bit of fun; however there will be a trophy and I think for ease it will simply be a winner takes all, highest single output on the day wins. It was suggested that we use team totals but felt that if we did that then it might put off the older/lower capacity cars from wanting to run for fear of damaging their teams stats - we wanted to see a good selection which I think we have. We can tot up team totals for fun as well, just out of curiosity you see .

Oh and even I will notice if you rock up in the Mosler with a Porsche badge stuck on the front

Bugger, I might as well put the original badge back in its pouch then! Of course the other "subtle" little details would never have given it away. Looking forward to this, as I said I've never taken part in a rolling road event before. And the beers after of course which I must admit I have taken part in on several million occasions

Hi Dave, unfortunately the Rolling Road can't accomodate rear engined Turbos due to cooling issues (I think the TVR owners are scared). More than welcome to come along though.

We've now got the 12 cars we need, but theres a reserve list, and no doubt they're be a few drop-outs between now and September. Let me know if he's still interested and I'll add him to the list, cheers, Jamie.

Thanks Jamie, Well that’s a shame cause I’ve also had it tuned by DMS (supposedly + 100 bhp) and a few other bits so I’m quite curious how it would have fared.
As far as going to spectate that’s a big maybe, it’s quite a trek from here but my bro has a cerbera red rose thing so if he runs his I might go down just for the laugh (sorry Michael).
I shall tell my mate with the c2 and I’m sure he will let you know.
Any other meets etc give me a shout if you don’t mind I have quite a few mates with decent cars who are just gagging for some form of event cheers mate.

Just flagging up a potential issue - my mate took the Manthey to the 'ring for the Manthey closed circuit days and we apparently now have a bit of a clutch issue to resolve. Will keep you posted

I've got the original Porsche badge from the Manthey bonnet - do you think if I stuck it on I could get away with it?
