Many thanks for organising such excellent weather. Can we have the same next time, please? Great to meet you all, and I am now investigating a four point dog harness for the Atom!

A great day out. Well worth the 200 mile round trip for a bit of tyre kicking and a natter.

Dom and Rivergirrl, whoever sorted the weather out for today, would you consider being official PH weather director for future events? I'm sure Ted wouldn't mind delegating this particluar area of responsibility.

Great selection of cars on display with the Dazren award for Absolute Class going to Bruce Fielding and his wife's (sorry didn't catch name) Alvis convertible. What a delightful way to travel on an english "summer's" day.

See you all at the next meet.

PS - SFV if you're reading this, it was good to meet you today prior to the late May Nurburg Drinking and Driving festival. On a related note how about posting your opinions on ferry travel which you posted on another discussion forum a few months ago!!!!

Do I get a prize for turning up in the most inappropriate vehicle?

(The big blue diesel Westfield....)

Great weather - good to catch up with people in the sunshine...

Great to meet more of my fellow Pistonheaders. Fabulous weather and a damn good pub too. What more could one want? (Apart from a numpty-free drive home)

p.s. I see one of you managed to catch Mr Petrol Ted in a photo. Some really nice pictures from all of you. Thanks for posting them.

Many thanks to the sun for shining, RG for doing the sundance, you lovely PH people for turning up and the pub for not turfing us out when we took over their car park

Oh, and good pics everyone! Did anyone get a video of Daz trying to fit into Scottster's sports seats?

Great to meet a few new PHers and catch up with the old ones. Top day

Unlikely anyone got that on video as I suffered the same guillotined neck effect from the roof as when trying to get into Chaos's Tuscan at VW a few months ago. Therefore I didn't actually reach the seat.

Great to meet some of you yesterday, and the choice of venue was top notch - a most excellent Sunday roast, and pud in a luvverly pub

Car park was nice and cosy

Daz - good to meet you at last, and very much looking forward to a few flaggons of Weizzen in the Eifel mountains in May. and also looking forward to a passenger lap around the Ring in your beast.

Thorney - just had a look at your pics of the day.

A couple of lovely caterhams? As far as I remember there was only one (which was lovely), along with the 5 or 6 Westfields

I'll definitely put you down for a lap, I'm planning on not feeling sick due to alcoholic excess on this trip. All constuctive criticism will be welcome when "on toll road" from respected Ring Hooligans such as yourself. Just don't expect anything like the videos I've seen of Anders and Ulf in their GT3 clubsports (the car may be up to the challenge but the driver isn't (rare moment of modesty)).

Can I put you down for giving a few PHers some laps? (excluding me, I don't fit in 968CS's, I checked yesterday with Scottster's car).

cheers

DAZ

PS - Any chance of posting you "Ferry Experience" from the other forum onto a General Gassing thread on PH. It'll definitely get a few laughs. Did you ever do a follow up on any other aspects of a Ring weekend?

LOL, there was another one, but it left quite early, you'd think I'd know better bearing in mind I owned one for 8 years wouldn't you

I was going to go but the missus is off on business all this week so I thought she'd be happier if I stayed at home...

So last night I bring the photos up on the laptop, she looks over my shoulder and goes - ooh that ultima is nice why did'nt we go down there!

DOH!

In future I shall be attending!
