Just finished waxing up the Jag ready for tomorrow although going out tonight and can't resist taking it, so it'll probably be filthy again by the morning.

Hi All,

Great time today, thanks to Barry and Jamie for leading and organising. Sorry i had to bolt at the Linton crossroads, i was nearly out of petrol and only 2 miles from home so thought it was a good time to leave. Next time we will need to petrol stop

and before anybody says or thinks why did i not fill up before hand, scratchchin I did yikes it is only a 5 gallon tank in the Tiger and we were upto around 130 miles!

Hope everybody else enjoyed it and much as i did, it actually gave me a chance to use the car properly driving

I will post the pics up on a fresh link shortly.

Cheers
D

Hi there and thanks to everyone involved. A case of good roads driven on today with some great cars.
Sorry I had to leave on the A26 as my time was up on the petrol front and tonbridge called.

Thanks for a good outing
Rob.

A great drive this morning, particularly the first stint with no traffic and no navigational errors!

A real eclectic mix of machinery too, yet seemingly well matched. thumbup

No such navigation problems for Team1 hehe (makes a change!). The second stint was definitely better than the first - sorry you guys in Team2 didn’t get to see it properly. I'll make sure that me and RM synchronise tomtoms better next time…

That must have been some detour - the whole run was 110 miles, let alone 130 miles to Linton!! driving

Nice pics Damien thumbup

What a laugh!!!

I was about to say that I'm amazed I'm still conscious but I pretty much wasn't!!

Came home and crashed out for 3 hours straight!

...Well the tunnel run last night was bonkers (got to bed just before 3am, in time for my alarm to go off at 6:30! ) and I've got to say this was utter, seat if the pants, hell for leather, breakneck blasting at it's best from beginning to end!

Thanks Barry & Jamie for leading us around - that was a great run! I can't believe I kept up! LOL (or was that... I can't believe that I WAS up?! )

There is going to be teething problems when getting these things started. My only resquest is a petrol station around the 100 mile point!

There was one (at the 80mile point) - we were waiting there but you lot never turned up. We found a nice Mustang there though

Sorry I piked out early from Ide Hill

I was gutted to see all the others arriving (and you) as we were leaving - I was half tempted to turn back!!

...but the lack of sleep really had started to kick in and the last thing I wanted was to drive with poor concentration - the potential consequences don't bear thinking about!

Ah, but three meets in 12 hours is pretty dedicated.

Thanks to Barry and Jamie, no probs keeping up this time. First half of the run was the best for me. Great weather, great cars, great roads, nothing broke/fell off and I didn't get lost. (well not on my own). must invest in one of those Tom-Tom things then I can run over the same fox more than once more often.

I was concerned the "road kill" the first time around wasn't actually "road alive" - it's the animal lover in me (if you know what I mean).

Yes sorry Team Dos for the run around, as Barry mentions above, for the next one we will sit down together and make sure both navigation systems correlate.

As we approached Argos Hill (again) I did have a sinking feeling boxedin

Other than that I hope you all had a good time and hope you can all make the next one.

Cheers

RM

Guys, a great hoon with some excellent cars yesterday, really enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next one already

By next time I should have a new toy car so won't have to fight to keep up in the 172 driving

What did you think of the Tiger? Something that you might be looking at?

As mentioned on Sunday I think you should post up this fact as a new thread as 3 meets/runs in 24 hours has probably never been achieved before!!
