What about the Saturday Club behind Lenton Lane! Class.

A load of us shared a house off there in 94-95 and every sat eve you could hear the fighting. Very nice - never been in though ....:-) Do you think I am that mad!

Used to work on Lenton Lane and our Friday boozer was the red cow, bulls head, or something like that
Can't picture where the Saturday place is though

Right, booked the first half of the next week off work, so now safe to go out drinking with Mungo and Flasher again..

So, have we got a hotel to crash in agreed?

Totally in the way of research Flasher and myself decided to check out many of the pistonhead Notts night out establishments on Saturday night including a very dodgy pub in Hockley where I have never seen so many Flecky suits and new romantics in one place at the same time since live aid!

We missed Mungos chat up lines and tried the Lizard Lounge - they said we were TOO CAUSAL I think they ment TOO DRUNK AND LOUD

Anyway we ended up in................wait for it....

IN RITZY...it was superb

We were like Michael Flatley - feet of flames on the dance floor -

Well I s'pose it's marginally more up market then Rock City
One of my mates used to promote Monday nights in the Palais (what Ritzy has been called for the past 5 years ) used to alternate between doctors and nurses, and school disco's nights
Love the review

Oh that is a class review!!!!!!

It Reads......

Quote:

review

Corporate clubbing for the masses. Not my scene but then again I'm neither a rug-chested-cheese merchant nor a shag-starved slapper (debatable - Ed). Most of you will either have been to the Palais or somewhere similar before, and if you're into swaggering around to commercial dance music whilst getting utterly mullered, and are of an 'if it moves, shag it' mentality, then you'll be going back regardless of what I say. What, even with your buckled shoes, chino's, pink shirts, boob tubes etc etc.

Now I know why we liked it...class
