Hi all! _dobbo_ trawls about on here and mentioned that someone might have a good contact for DMS...? I'm after getting my Phaeton 5.0V10 chipped and maybe then seeing what it'll do at VMAX if I'm allowed to come and play...

Thanks in advance.

Nice one, see you there.

Just give them a call (0845 501845) & ask for Mike Cooper. Tell him Paul with the Blue M5 said you'd look after him.

A Brand Spanker (he picks it up tomorrow i think) although it's likely to be stock for a couple of weeks. I'd not be surprised if they don't throw a bit of interesting code at it though.

I thought of chipping too, Tuan. But heard tales of torque converters failing on chipped cars, which is understandable given the torque supposedly goes from the standard 750NM to 800 - 850NM plus post re-map. This of course has warranty implications if any drive train components bit the dust.

Not sure how the Phaeton feels, but I also felt the Toerag would be too savage and aggressive for the chassis if the power were to be increased.

Edited to add: not heard of failures pertaining to cars done by specific tuners, just heard in general probs have been had.
