993 Ruf Turbo R vs CGT at Vmax 13
Discussion
I suspect Rods with race fuel might have been a high 190s bod, too.
Not sure what effect Schoo-makker juice in regularish road car lumps will have?
Mark's Kleeman is just the absolute f@cking business, though, is it not?
I mean here we are, flapping around every 3 months like a bunch of demented demi Lufftwaffia, spending £x/n-1 for the odd mile an hour and yet this unassuming SL quietely lopes in, sets up camp for a few hours and by any moral standard, makes off with 90% of the tea & biscuits, all the while exhibiting more composure than a female monarch during the letting orf of a fake pistola whilst marching amidst the plebian mass.
I many ways, the argument for a big, modified Merc for VMax and something lithe (RS, GT3, Noble, Evo, Scooby) for the weekend hills seems a more logical approach.
Will this profound logicality have any sway on the sufferance described?
Not even slightly...

Having seen Polarebert's video elsewhere, the CGT driver was saving the clutch and preventing the car from stalling by gingerly leaving the line. In the race to the first right hander, would that be the reason Leon destroyed him perhaps?
Leon was faster than me and I think the CGT was trying here

Not a chance - the CGT clutch is pretty much on or off anyway and the chap was not best pleased at the 911 onslaught! He confessed to me that he was giving it the max! Best sounding engine in a road car though!

That is a thought - Leon is usally a good 10mph down on me so if I put 102 in mine do I hit 208?

That will be a challenge then - though buying a Veryon to top the Vmax tables is a bit of an extreme measure!

If Leon brings an RT12, you might as well forget it - the challenge will be to see if anyone can replicate Guy's original 200 busting feat and/or which is the second fastest chariot.
The only way from that, is via Veyron.

Well lets say RT12 is 700bhp,it will weigh a bit more than yours David so I reckon if you could find about 60bhp[ie,Jungle Juice.]that would cost a tad less than a Veyron.
Then it would then be a close run thing
