Good meet and fabulus weather for it! Excellent flight activity to watch especially that jet helicopter thingy!

3rd on the noiseometer, which aint bad,but Tivi needs a wee bit of tweaking so I'll play my excuses for not coming first, beat Pupp which is what mattered!

Nice new Caterham Redboy!

Also good to know Sywell were ok with the noise tests and us having monthly meets there.

Seconded! Very cool. And quite amusing watching Bigrah trying (unsuccessfully) to get in it too!

Twas a good meet, and lovely weather too. Nice to be standing around outside for a change.

A couple of classics too - most welcome! A nice change from a load of TVRs and Lotuses...

Thanks for letting me try them both for size, chaps. The Rover smells gorgeous inside, all that tree and skin!

Would have been disapointed if I had come 2nd , that light blue chim does sound very nice , rare to see one owned by a lady driver .

Excellent weather for a meet, so why wasn't there a bigger turnout?
(excusing a couple of us who were passengers instead of taking our own cars).

I thought the turnout wasn`t bad considering we`re still in the depths of winter. It`s bound to grow after next month`s run.

And big thanks to Mrs Bluecerbera for sugesting Sywell in the first place! clap

Had hoped to make it, but got carried away in the garden and by the time I realised we should be going I was too knackered to think about the logistics of it.

I know that's a poor excuse, sorry

Couldn't beat your beastie!

Tivi will be tamed more than likely. Sounds fab while out driving, especially fast, but the nickname of ASBO may well be officially enforced by my neighbours if I'm not careful rolleyes

Actually, I don't think I got to drive Tivi yesterday...!

Mark , thanks for the plug on the wedge pages ! Most of them are underneath their cars this time of year or too scared of the slippery roads to venture off the keyboard . Blipi , I better mention that when I heared your chim I did think there would be a battle on ! And also , the cost of putting flanges on my silencer so it would remove to put a piece of flanged and gasketed stainless drain pipe was not cheap ! Worth it though !

Luckily Tivi has her pipes sleeved so just need to drop the pipe and remove them to make her softer. The silver Cerbera has the sweetest sound, deep, burbling, good volume the right combination!

Hi Steph, didn't have a chance to talk to you much, Tivi sounded lovely on full chat but when you were doing your run it sounded like it was missing very slightly - can you feel anything like that when it accelerates?

I was hoping the testing man would be at the side ot the road when I left in the Saab, was going to turn up the stereo to the full 300w and blow the hornhehe

Combine, your wedge sounded fab when you were turning around out the front of the hotel, stayed an extra few minutes so I could hear it again for your next run

andwaveyto Nicol@, nice to meet you.

Yeah she is running a bit bad as her temp sensors and lamba switches all need replacing. may have to play with a few bits n bobs too. Never ending problems. It's not the Lotus certainly does not deserve the lots of trouble usually serous name!

Have we got the official figures for the test , there seems to be some doubt about the static sound test difference between silver cerb and blue wedge !
