The key there is to try to look local.

No offence, but you foreigners come down our way you're likely asking for trouble.

A beer tent with sensibly priced beer would help too; to date the PF beer tents have been somewhat overpriced.

Hey give me enough lead in time i can have a 5 Galleon barrel of Bitter, 5G of Lager, and 5G of wine - red and white (tho i would need a bigger car ) all for around £20 a barrel (thats about 40 pints in each barrel, or 30 bottles of wine)

Last year had a barrel to myself drink

I would also not like to be involved, especially with an empty tank of fuel!

Hi Garlick.

I have Attended PF 04 05 & 06

Thanks to TED and All who organised them.
I apprieciate its not easy to organise.
We just pay our £20 and drive down in a convoy at 69 mph and have a cracking weekend and have a couple of beers ( and more alcopops )

04 the first small very freindly very good my favourite one

05 was to big an area and not enough people to fill it
but the car wrecking was a brill idea and thanks to all paties.

06 was at a differant place and was on a differant theme.
24 hour race was good but we didnt realy get to know any body.
it wasnt as friendly as the others. weather spoilt it.

Ideas.
- a bit more lighting.
- toilets in same field ( only to be opened on a night )
- more organised parking so we are not in groups and we get to know each other.
- cheeper beer
Track time would be nice but ??
- sunshine !!!

Last year on the last morning I was talking to ted over coffee about motorhomes on site for the elite PHers

any way whatever you plan I should be there
KEEP up the GOOD WORK

and dont let TED make you do it all

I reckon the sun will shine on us this year, end of May's usually OK for a bit of sun. I'm looking forward to it. I'll certainly be trying to implement as many of the requested changes as I can- esp a closer feel to the camping area, no point in going if you don't get to meet anyone new is there?

Question is, do I bring the girlfriend or some mates? Shall i bring the tent, or book a holiday cottage (eh Ted!)

I know this isn't your intent, but elite PHers? So people wishing to bring a motorhome will be allowed or denied access to the site based on some pecking order? Or are you saying that "Petrolheads Ltd. t/a pistonheads.com" should foot the bill for a fleet of motorhomes to be allocated again by some pecking order? confused

Anyway, don't laugh but the missus is lobbying me to hire a motorhome for us this year anyway.

I haven't been to one either. But...

I should be home this year and be able to come to PistonFest! (woooo! I hear everybody cry)

I will arrive in style in whatever hire car I can find with a borrowed tent and a couple of crates of beer in the boot.

Who's with me?
