No,its not only open to Honda's we have a old style mini with a 300 BHP S/C Honda lump in it. also a Renault megane R26 a Skoda Octavia VRS. The tour is fully booked up this year 30th June-7th July 2007. I asked the mods on here if I could advertise the tour but it was refused as the site run their own tours through a company.(understandable really) therefore I can't post a link but if you look on the Type R forums you will find all the info you want.

Somebody mentioned we don't have supercars which is true, but some of the rotrex Supercharged Type R's are running 300-400BHP I wouldn't exactly call them slow. Its a tour, not a show or a race. I would love to take part in the Gumball or canonball but for normal people like me who can't afford to spend £28K on a holiday plus I don't drive a Ferrai's , Lambo's GT3's etc. So we do our own thing and its only £350

That would be Sweden etc, IMO of the first 4 cannonballs this was the best. I cant put a face to your name, I was lurking around in the lightly tweaked Skoda which you might have spotted..

Stuart I remember you and the Skoda! Was in the blue TVR with white stripes.. Its was my mate Daves second time on the run and you did it with him the year before.. We also had the 'police' type strobe and headlight effects... hehehe great fun..!

Now I remember you, amazing how you remember the driver once you see the car. Best get him to take you on the Furball, loads more fun & half the cost. www.furball5000.co.uk Theres usually a few TVR's as well

Hi V8Owner,

I remember your blue lights! I was in the BMW Z8

Stuart is right about the Furball, I would recommend it as well.

Colin.

...Carbon Black rally will be running through Europe in early May. Should be interesting as it was started last year by an ex-gumballer Nods...

Is that the same nonce who wrecked his 360 and Lambo on the Gumball? I hope his organisational skills are somewhat better than his driving!

How come no one ever talks about 2006 English Cannonball being called off at the last minute.

Well, if anyone cares....I was about to do the Cannonbal Run but my co-driver then decided that he culdn't make that one.

HOWEVER....we can both now free ourselves for the Furball. So that's final now. Furball 2007.

I'm really gonna try the Cannonball next year though, hopefully!?!
