I've had the PH one since day 1 (about a year now) and it's still perfectly AOK.

And no sign of it going in the near future.

And no-one has complained about it breaking that I'm aware of.

I can confirm it's not cheapy plastic.

I've had mine for quite a few months now and so has the t'other half. Both used every day. Mine spends all day inm ypockets. Still works awell and looks good.
