Events/gatherings planned for FBHVC 'drive it day' 22.4.07?
Discussion
or will the roads just be filled with an unorganised horde of random classics?

Sorry you're a bit too far out for the two local events I know of
Apparently my car's 8 days too young to be a Historic Vehicle ('73 Triumph GT6) but even so I'll be with the Sporting Bears Motor Club on a two day tour of northern England, amongst our party will be 1950 Triumph TR3a, '65 and '72 MGB roadsters and another 18 cars from '73 (mine) to 2006 Boxster and Jag XK convertible
For those local to Northampton area these's an open JDC run (organised by a Sporting Bear) and this below by P5 and Chim owning PHer

News to me `unall.
Alan's run is arranged for P5s but I know he'd welcome others
"Drive It Day" is for historic (pre '73) cars but the JDC (Jaguar Drivers Club) run is organised by a Bear that hasn't even owned Jag for 4 years and is taking his '96 Marcos, so it's open to all classics and sports cars, another Bear's taking his Westie or wife's smart roadster on the JDC run, I can pass on details for those interested
Bears Northern England event has been fully booked for months, only 20 spaces were available (includes a small speed-away-and-return real ale group)
ETA: this is where Alan's appeared www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?p=1&f=140&t=374506&h=0
