I can't really say whether anyone was as I expected or not as I generally don't "expect" people. Although you've got to hand it to Professor Beard for the most descriptive and spot-on name.

Really nice meeting everyone, especially our neighbours and I hope you all appreciated our guiding beacon back to the tents.

Especially nice to meet Mrs. Trackside under circumstances where she doesn't ignore me. (only teasing)

I'm not even going to try to list who I met, but I think I enjoyed Saturday evening by the RV the most - notably someone (Nick P?) losing some arm hairs to the barbeque-cum-bonfire and Marcus doing a fairly spectacular dive out of the way of bits of flaming cardboard from aforementioned quasi-bonfire.
