Especially nice to meet Mrs. Trackside under circumstances where she doesn't ignore me. hehe (only teasing)
I'm ever so sorry about that. I really don't remember it. I can only say you may have got my deaf side coz I wouldn't intentionally ignore anyone, unless I was intentionally ignoring them, but they'd know why if that was the case!

You missed me off your list, Mrs T! weeping

hehe I'm not even going to try to list who I met, but I think I enjoyed Saturday evening by the RV the most - notably someone (Nick P?) losing some arm hairs to the barbeque-cum-bonfire and Marcus doing a fairly spectacular dive out of the way of bits of flaming cardboard from aforementioned quasi-bonfire. thumbup
I know!! I'm sorry Becca!

I typed it out very quickly before we went out for lunch and remembered you in the car. I've edited it to add you and some of the others I forgot. No doubt I'll need to edit it again!

It's ok - I really was only teasing. smile

I was more concerned with you thinking we'd argued on PH. And Ali_kat said the same (that I'd argued with her, I mean). I thought I just robustly debated on PH rather than arguing as such. But even then I don't remember having a "run in" with either of you.

Still, after 69 months and 16,809 posts I'm bound to have upset a few people a few times over the years.

If we did butt heads, I certainly wouldn't be offended by it. I like opinionated people because they make the world a more interesting place. Plus this isn't real life (although some people think PH and Eastenders are!!)

When we got home, Trackside said he was annoyed with himself that he didn't realise you were who you are until after we'd stopped talking to you!

I take it that was Mrs JonRBs Elan?

Funnily enough, it wasn't. It was the one Silverback Mike had that Marcus how has having done swapsies for a 944 Turbo, I believe.
Mrs. RB's car was the silver BMW 330i SE Sport Touring with the monster roof box on that was parked almost next to the Elan with just Vixpy's blue Chimaera between them.

I'd rather have a silly hat (and a warm, dry head) and a goaty beard than a wet crotch, Nick. hehe

It was lovely to see some very familiar faces and friends again and meet some familiar and not so familiar names off here - far too many to remember! Thanks to everyone for making it such a great weekend. Apart from the wind and rain, I had a really enjoyable time.

(Bet you all wish you had had a tiny tent like mine now winkhehe )
