With hindsight we all should've moved our tents inside the marquee roundabout Saturday bedtime...
With hindsight, Charlie should be profusely thanking the unknown people who endeavoured to make this a reality for him!

About ten min after you'd trundled off the Haymarket gazebo thing happened and we roared off an hour later (took that long to get the car packed).

I did head up the field and spotted the BG's little group of cars, was quite funny the Bentley surrounded by all the others. I honestly thought the pictures of your car had the plate shopped BG.

yes Quite! It'd be a hoot all camping in a big marquee, anyway...

You know what I have never driven a 2 seater kart. If PH ever does a karting event and there is a 2 seater kart there im your man. Just need someone with a hosepipe to soak the track scratchchin

As Beccas tent was leaking, we walked down one of our midlands crew gazebos and put it over her tent, we thought we'd pegged it out OK, but within mimutes it ended up on the adjacent portakabins roof. I went and took my other gazebo down right away. With hindsight, they should all have been taken down as soon as the wind got up.
We took our flagpole and windbreak down when the wind really got up, although mostly it was because I wanted the flat pegs and guy ropes they were using in order to reinforce our tent.
I'll be buying more of those flat pegs I think - they are so much better than the wire ones as they don't twist round and let go.

Balls to football next year, I would be up for some racing! If we ended up at Silverstone, then Daytona Milton Keynes isnt a million miles away...

A5 looks fun on here as well..

Doubt anyone would want to pay the prices Silverstone charges. The touring cars have already told BRDC to go take a jump this year and the MG lot aren't far behind them. If they carry on they'll only have the GP running there. Mallory would be good for PF 2008 I don't think they charge too much and it's pretty central for everyone.

Preference would be brands, but I doubt THAT would happen!

Next year, for PF 2008, why don't we do our own 24-hour endurance race .... in karts hehe

We'd easily get 30+ teams together.

Imagine the chaos.

And the fun yes

yesyes

I'm liking that idea.

Karting as a part of it somehow, for sure... even if the 24-hour thing doesn't work out.
