joust, the Falcon's car park is right in behind the hotel, with barriers, so your car should be safe and not visible (I haven't actually been in, just walked past)- don't know about any ramps, you might want to speak to them to make sure that lower lip will be ok

The Falcon's car park has 3 levels - 1 ground level, 1 above and 1 below (IIRC - maybe not below)- you quite often see various exotica in there on all levels, so you shouldn't have any problems.

I've just booked in there as well. Presumably you were intending to get a Taxi to the evening events ?

Frostie

Frostie,

I think the plan is to do the cruise then drop the cars off & get a cab back to the venue have a few beers & then possibly down to town later on, so if there are a few of us we might as well share a cab??

we have booked in at a hotel

Good value but some way from the party - don't drink so that's a bonus in my book.

All,

Can you clarify for me, please.

If camping - are there caravan facilities?

If staying in Hotel/B&B - Will there be enough Taxi's to get between race circuit.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Don't know what you mean by caravan facilities - if you mean water & electrical hook up points, no. I f you mean could you park one there, I've seen caravans at avon park before...

And there are a few people staying in hotels in and around stratford, wouldn't of thought taxis would be a problem...

A few weeks ago I tried two hotels and they wanted me to stay for a minimum of two nights. Accordingly this lunchtime I have bought a tent for sleeping in and a mallet for hitting noisy people . I will now be getting absolutely blasted on saturday night and not have to deal with the complex issue of getting a taxi to pick me up from the middle of nowhere.

You're bothering with a tent? Should be quite a warm night
