I stand by my original post.

I looked at a wreck in which 2 people died when it was involved in a full frontal crash. The other driver had only glanced away to pick up something from the passenger seat and ploughed head long into a young couple. He had a big car and walked away from it. They had a much smaller one and both died.

I'd advise you don't have your right hand gripping the wheel more firmly than usual, this will adversely affect your reaction time if you have to do anything in a hurry. You will tend to over compensate as in the case above.

BTW, not intending on taking a poke at any upstanding members of our online community, but a moment's inattention can affect more than ourselves when driving. I think thats perhaps forgotten once in a while when we are out having fun.. Most of the lunatic driving I saw at Le Mans though was from non PHers I'm glad to say..
Give it a rest. This isn't the ROSPA site, its PistonHeads. You can (over-)analyse any situation and extrapolate dangers from it. Fact is the guy is posting his pics so he made a judgement call which was sound - he was there, you weren't. Give us all a break, please.

Ted, how about a SoapBox forum, or Preachers Corner? Somewhere people can berate the actions of others without anyone actually having to listen?

I've got some more pics from Saturday and Sunday.

I was wondering - would it be OK with everyone else who has pics up if I post links to your sites from mine?
Cheers,

Great photos, guys - cheers!

I'll get the rest of the links sorted later today hopefully, haven't had time so far... it's my first attempt at my own website & will require a bit more effort than I expected before I get it right. I'm hoping Ted'll allow me to use a couple of his logos to link back to PH, & that I might get permission to link to some avi's of the jet car, Dodge charger & The Gatsos. Well good, because I inadvertantly missed their set, due to me b about trying to get some pics up on Fotango to at the time, with only minor success

PD - did you manage to get your video playback sorted?

Emm - seem to remember you wouldn't have even been able to keep standing if you had tried to take them on Sunday morning!

Finally got round to uploading my pics of PistonFest. Sorry that there are no interesting one's - broke down on the M40 on the way up, so missed Saturday night's party.... These pics were taken on the Sunday. Feel free to link them. Has anyone compiled a cd or video yet?
