Robert,

Was that your S2 behind me (M3) when I had the NSX in front of me?

So are you glad you brought along the volvo as opposed to the bike? Although having said that we saw alot of bikers enroute to hayling island, seemed like a friendly sensible bunch too. smile
it was chilly when i got up so i thought i'd go for the warmer option

i had a nice run out in the volvo, it's a pleasure to drive for such an old car and the 5cyl turbo sounds superb when you press the loud pedal ... as you will well know cool

BTW thumbup to the chap in the Red Alfa 147 GTA for waiting several times for us to reappear in the rearview mirror

Didn't get a chance to see who appeared from the car at the sailing club so couldn't thank in person.

That was indeed me! biggrin

I was impressed with your willingness to light up the rear tyres on every junction exit! thumbup

Chris, the 5 cylinder engine is a peach of an engine isn't it? My brother in law has a tuned T5 and that sounds lovely too. smile

What a way too spend a Sunday morning! biggrin A nice leisurely drive through the countryside, drivingwinkfollowed by a nice bit of breakfast! lick
Good to see so many PH'ers turn up and with such a wide variety of auto-porn cloud9. Big thanks to all those that took the lead and showed me the way, especially jimblive and inf, and the TV&S crew for the hoon back home. thumbup

Hope to see you all again at the next big run!
No problem, was unsure of what pace to go but thought we should try to catch up with the others after our little detour.

The pace was fine by me, 'Drive it like you stole it', thats what I say! biggrin
It's just a shame we got separated by some intervening traffic. rolleyes

Oh man, what a run to miss out on! Looks like an amazing selection of serious metal. I'll be missing the Kent Run too......need some work on the engine (valve guides worn) - the front-end is (almost) noisier than the back end at the moment frown

Great pics thumbup

A few more pics to add to the collection - very reduced in size for online viewing...! If anyone want the fullsize versions (10 mega pixel) of any images then drop me a PM and I'll email them over.

Great run out and thanks to Pete for leading a spirited run down in the first group - we had zero traffic issues and got to breakfast nearly 20 mins before anyone else arrived! hehe

Cheers chaps, what a day! All started off well this morning meeting up with the other Vipers and the white TVR, However once we left the carpark I had no one in front of me and people behind me thought I knew where I was going!!! I missed the first turning, managed to get back on track a short while later biggrin , After Newlands cnr it all went a bit pair shaped! I missed the turning over the railway line and with 3 other cars behind me finaly had to pull up and admit defeat getmecoat One of the other cars went in front and got us back on track, they then expected me to lead again!... Yep I took the wrong turning yet again! They realised the mistake and the next thing I knew I was alone and lost frown TRYING TO DRIVE AND READ A MAP IS A BIT TRICKY!! At one point I asked my 12yr old son to drive and I would read the map hehe Somehow or other we missed most of the planed route, but ended up at the sailing club about the same time as everybody else confused I even had to stop on route as my son was not well, luckly no mess in the car, wink Thanks for a GREAT DAY, Of what I saw there was some great driving, and a great crowd thumbup
PS, where we going next biggrin
So this is the viper man who got lost and we helped. Was good to meet you, was also nice to have you in the Corrado's rear view mirrors!

Was great run, met up with couple of friends in Petworth in VX220's and bumped into a couple of 'stangs which with there sat nav managed to get us all down and via a rather fun bit on the A27! Thanks all.

really wondered just how the day was gonna turn out after i drearily sprinkled salt all over my weetabix in the dimmly lit kitchen at my Cousins stayover in East Horsley...DOH! (they never heard the wrong turners that ended up through E. Horsley - you weren't trying!) But what an amazing sight to find on turning down the tight lane off the A3 - so much kit just about to blitz the peace!
Joy as ever to tag the fellow Viper crew for a while with John JSS 911 up front (as far as i could see??!) - annoyed i didn't find you again after briefly speaking at the meet point!...same to Barrie Biper - were you too fast for us Dodges?? biggrin
Decided to try and get some in car footage of chasing other cars than Vipers the whole way so pulled over not long into the run. Picked up some good loud blast pasts and slotted back in behind the red GTO for another 20mins. Went for another static view of passing cars on a mission but that's when it all went a bit wrong . . .i think i let the last man past without realising it! Didn't tag him and thought 5mins of silence was probably enough to tell me i was now last, atleast on this (the correct?) route! No sat-nav and with just some recollection of the towns on the route, i carried on without seeing any of the runners until after a divertion along the A27. Eventually discovered Stoat's Cobra et al sniffing out the sailing club and made it, phew!
From the roads i knew were on the right route to the those i was pretty sure (what awesome acoustics Petworth has biggrin sorry to the guy who's car alarm i set off whistle) of, it was a good drive...and the blue F612 sighting on the Billingshurst by-pass added to it! Cheers Gruffy crew!
And then a hotrod meet after cloud9
So happy to meet and talk to other Phers (and Phers-to-be) - eg white cerb pilot, navigator and friends, Stoat, Mach-Shell, Fatboy & Laurie (at last), Orange Focus ST pilot too and many others.
About an hour of in car footage to un ravel nowwink
ps awesome photos so far! + Mark Fatboy: can't wait to see the footage from Laurie of my car filming your car and some of the M27 fun afterwards smile

You can upload them via photobucket or other similar sides.

Just google "upload video's" and you'll get lots of siteswink

I'm just uploading my photo's at the moment.
